The Dorit Kemsley fans knew at the start of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 was a completely different Dorit by the end of the season, in no small part thanks to Kyle Richards.
Dorit and Kyle were like two crossed fingers to start, more often than not to Dorit’s detriment. Any viewer could see that Dorit’s choice to stand by Kyle only hurt her in the court of public opinion.
So, how did Kyle repay Dorit’s loyalty? By sending a long text ahead of the reunion which Dorit said was an effort to “silence” her. So, where do the two stand now? According to Dorit, not on firm ground.
Dorit acknowledges that Kyle must feel hurt too
On March 15, in her appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, Dorit again confirmed her falling out with Kyle, saying, “I feel really, really hurt by Kyle. Now, she’ll obviously say the same.” Understandably, she was taken aback by Kyle’s claim that Dorit exaggerated their friendship.
In Dorit’s words, Kyle “told the world that the friendship is a lot more important to me than it is to her. That’s the way I took it, anyway.” Dorit also claimed that Kyle became upset over the former’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live. During the talk show episode, Dorit claimed that Kyle’s friendship with Morgan Wade drove a wedge between them.
Dorit then brought up the text once again. “To me, it was very calculated and very manipulative. And it really, really upset me.” But despite all of it, she also said she’d be willing to reconcile with Kyle. She expressed her hope to “have a genuine, honest, open conversation” with Kyle in Season 14.
