Lisa Rinna has truly been thriving since departing The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The Bravo villain graced our screens for several seasons, stirring up trouble among her costars. They included Kim Richards, Brandi Glanville, and Denise Richards.
Since leaving, she’s taken roles in series like American Horror Stories and a new Lifetime flick, Mommy Meanest. In a March 2024 interview, she said that playing RHOBH’s biggest pot-stirrer helped prepare her for this new character. “I’m grateful for the experience. I think that it has made me a better actor because I’m acting again,” she said. “I’m not kidding. You laugh, but it’s true. I think it made me a better actor.”
People dropped a first look photo from the film set. They also revealed a description of Lisa’s new film, airing May 11, which is inspired by a true story. “The movie tells the shocking story of a teenage girl with a history of emotional trauma who is relentlessly cyberbullied, only to discover the culprit behind the horrific texts is her very own mother,” a statement read. Also in the film is Lisa’s real-life daughter, Delilah Hamlin, who will play a friend of the reality star’s on-screen daughter.
Will Lisa ever return to the Real Housewives franchise?
Lisa first joined the cast of RHOBH in 2014 during Season 5. She immediately caused waves upon her entrance, bumping heads with Yolanda Hadid and several others.
Over time, she became one of the series’ marquee players, even branding herself the LeBron James of the franchise at one point. Eventually, fans grew tired of the outspoken star’s antics, and her feud with Kathy Hilton during her final season seemed to be the straw that broke the camel’s back.
After Kathy blasted her as the “biggest bully in Hollywood,” Rinna sang her final song. She eventually exited the series after eight years. “This is the longest job I have held in my 35 year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series.”
She added, “It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”
As far as a potential Housewives return, Lisa has that completely ruled out. “Never. No, I wouldn’t,” she said. “I am grateful for that show. I am the person I am today because of it, but I’ll never go back,” she said before saying she “f*cking hated” her final season.
