The recent news surrounding Alexia Nepola and her soon-to-be former husband Todd shook the Bravoverse. For those unaware, Todd recently filed to divorce Alexia. At the very least, the couple’s now-discovered prenup could make the process a little smoother, knock on wood.
Those who watched Real Housewives of Miami might’ve seen the yellow flags for a long time now. In Season 6, for example, Todd started things off immediately on the wrong foot when he failed to show up to Alexia’s Nuevos Horizontes party.
From there, Season 6 continued with rumors that there was trouble in paradise. While it seemed like Adriana de Moura was just trying to stir the pot, she may have known more than it seemed.
Alexia signed her prenup less than a week before her wedding
On April 16, Us Weekly reported findings from court documents they obtained. As a matter of “addressing all of their financial issues,” Todd and Alexia entered a prenuptial agreement on December 10, 2021. Alexia’s superfans will know that she was married just six days later. Here’s hoping the prenup offers Alexia some measure of comfort during this time.
Alexia took to her IG story to respond to news of the divorce. She wrote, “I am shocked and heartbroken that Todd has chosen to dissolve our marriage. I will take comfort in the fact that my friends and family will be by my side supporting me during his difficult time.”
If other Miami divorces are any indication, Alexia and Todd’s divorce proceedings could drag on for some time. While that process might be grueling, at the very least, it could offer Alexia a sense of story on RHOM. In all optimism, perhaps she’ll stop squabbling with her castmates and dedicate herself to some introspection.
