Let’s face it. Every other week, there’s a new rumor about some high-profile celebrity joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. This week, it’s Chelsea Handler whose name has been floated around for Season 14. Thankfully, Chelsea wasted no time shutting down those claims. She isn’t joining RHOBH, and we can all take a sigh of relief.
Chelsea isn’t getting a diamond
With a couple of diamonds up for grabs, casting rumors about RHOBH Season 14 are hotter than ever right now. There have been reports of old faces returning. We’ve heard Kyle Richards could be leaving. It’s a lot.
The rumor about Chelsea started on a blog that claimed the comedian “inked a deal to become a part of the highly popular reality TV series.” Chelsea took a screenshot of the report and shared it to her Instagram Story. She debunked the rumor in just four words. She simply captioned it, “This is not true.”
Of course, filming RHOBH probably wouldn’t fit into Chelsea’s schedule anyway. She has an international tour scheduled this year, and she hosts a popular podcast. Plus, let’s be real. Could you picture Chelsea having drinks with Erika Jayne and Dorit Kemsley? It’s just not a match.
Obviously, Chelsea isn’t the first celebrity randomly thrown into RHOBH casting conversations. In the past, other big-name celebs “rumored” to be joining RHOBH include Hilaria Baldwin, Tori Spelling, and even Kris Jenner. These rumors were all debunked just as quickly as Chelsea’s.
Most recently, Bette Midler through her name in the ring, claiming that she would want to be on the show, despite never watching it. Ultimately, the likelihood of any A-listers joining RHOBH is pretty slim. In actuality, we end up with people like Annemarie Wiley.
