Welcome to the Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard Season 2 reunion special. Last week’s finale episode ended with a big blow-up between Bria and Amir over the latter’s girlfriend, Natalie Cortes. Summer also left the house early to take care of her mental health … and things between her and the rest of her cast mates are still a bit tense. Everybody else, for the most part, was pretty tame. However, they still have much to talk about. Thankfully, Andy Cohen was able to gather them up for one last hoorah before a (potential) third season to mention it all. Here’s what went down on Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard Season 2, Episode 10: The Reunion.

Summer, Alex, and Noelle are … not good

The beginning of the season showcased Summer and Alex’s rocky relationship after the latter ghosted Summer following their sexual situationship. “You didn’t invite the person that you’ve been inside of,” Summer said during an earlier episode.

During the reunion, Andy tried to get to the bottom of it all, including Summer and Noelle’s beef over him. Essentially, Alex stood firm on his stance that he’s not a f*ck boy, while Summer seemed to disagree. Noelle was also looped into the conversation and expressed her frustration with Summer for not keeping it real. In case you forgot, Summer wanted to get closer to Alex, but things fizzled out after she discovered he had been intimate with Summer a few months before the season began.

Despite that, though, Alex and Noelle worked through their awkward relationship. However, her friendship with Summer remains … up in the air.

Who cares about Amir and Natalie’s relationship?

Nobody. When Andy asked the cast who thought this relationship would go the distance, the silence was extremely telling. Everybody’s gonna have an opinion on somebody else’s relationship. That’s just human nature. But the more this one is brought up in this group, the more it becomes clear that Amir is going to be ostracized if he continues to try to push Natalie on his friends. Let’s move on.

Jasmine vs. the group

Jasmine’s time in the house this season was rough. Not only was she going through her first pregnancy, she had to do it alone as her husband, Silas Cooper, was overseas serving the country. In an earlier episode, she said she entered the house not knowing where she stood with the group. However, her most challenging relationship this season had to have been with her (former) bestie, Jordan. They knew each other from their days in New York together, and Season 1 featured many laughs and good times. But something shifted during the off-season.

Many of the cast members said they felt Jasmine was being inauthentic— or, in other words, “trying to puppeteer us,” Jordan said. Shanice commented, too, saying she felt a certain way about Jasmine’s behavior … but never actually said what bothered her.

Jasmine asked Preston, the “elderly statesman” of the group, what she did to him to be excluded and isolated from the group in between seasons, and he said a whole bunch of nothing—which is par for the course with this dude. Next caller.

When the conversation circled back to Jasmine and Jordan’s relationship, they both agreed they didn’t know how to move forward, but they were willing to work on a path forward, which I love, love, love to hear.

Nick and his (alleged) wandering eyes and floating hands

Look, this conversation is tiring, but it was a major storyline this season. The good thing is that Nick said he watched his behavior back and understood there were things he needed to change. One of the most shocking revelations, though, was that he and his girlfriend, Tasia, broke things off before the holiday season.

“I think we both have our own goals that we want to accomplish in life and after our conversation, it made better sense to go after those things separately,” he said. When Andy asked Nick if he thought he embarrassed her on TV, Nick said he did, adding it wasn’t “the straw that broke the camel’s back;” however, they did discuss it.
