Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s separation is only part of the reason why the debut season of The Valley is truly must-see TV. We’ve seen the ups and downs of their relationship, from “Rawt in Hell” to walking down the aisle. Now, it seems like it’s finally coming to an end, just as the two stars kick off the next chapter of their reality TV careers.
Jax hasn’t been making a great case for his marriage in recent episodes of The Valley. He’s been filmed yelling at his wife for being sick, Brittany has been open about their lack of intimacy, and that’s just the beginning. Now, during the most recent episode of the Vanderpump Rules After Show, Scheana Shay chimed in on Jax’s dark side coming out on The Valley ahead of the official separation.
Scheana questions Jax’s commitment
During the VPR After Show, Scheana questioned whether or not Jax has truly “changed” into a better man. “With Jax, I feel like there is a different, monstrous side of him that comes out,” Scheana said. She referenced the moments on The Valley where he lashed out at Brittany, which Scheana doesn’t condone.
In general, Scheana thinks that Jax is always going to be Jax, which isn’t always a good partner. “It makes me think that he hasn’t changed and he hasn’t grown,” Scheana said. “He may be a great dad to Cruz, but is he a great husband to Brittany?” After Scheana’s performance during Part 3 of the Pump Rules reunion, it’s nice to see her on the right side of history, for once.
