Psychiatrist Dr. Mirica Sanders Reportedly Joins the Cast of Married to Medicine for Season 11

Now paging Dr. Mirica “Mimi” Sanders! Allegedly, she’s Married to Medicine’s newest cast member. She’s a psychiatrist from Atlanta, and the word on the street is that she has officially signed on for Season 11. We’ve got everything you need to know about the latest doctor to join the M2M crew.

Welcome to Bravo, Dr. Mimi

Bravo hasn’t officially confirmed Dr. Mimi’s casting, but TV Deets got the scoop when the entire cast came together recently to film the Season 11 finale. Photos show Dr. Mimi right up there in the mix with the rest of the veteran cast members, like Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Dr. Simone Whitmore.

On Instagram, Dr. Mimi describes herself as “your favorite psychiatrist.” She’s married to retired NFL player Steve Sanders, and they share a daughter. The husband and wife duo founded a mental health center called Inner Community Health, where she serves as CEO and medical director. She’s the real deal.

Apparently, Dr. Mimi isn’t the only casting shakeup in store for Season 11. The rumor is that Dr. Contessa Metcalfe will return to the show after spending last season on the sidelines. Reportedly, she’s the one who introduced Mimi to the group.

All of Season 10’s full-time Married to Med cast is expected to return. That includes Quad Webb because the attempt to exile her from the group failed. The only person who isn’t returning is Dr. Aliciia Egolum. She confirmed on social media earlier this year that she would not be returning to the show, which we can probably blame on her husband.

We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more details on Married to Medicine Season 11 and its newest edition. They just finished filming, so we’ve got a few months to wait before any news about the premiere. Until then, you can always stream the first ten seasons on Peacock.
