Jax Taylor Seeking In-Patient Mental Health Treatment Amid Valley Season 2 Filming

It’s no secret that Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor has been going through a tough time. The Valley star and his wife, Brittany Cartwright, separated about five months ago. Since that time, Brittany has been living in a separate residence with their son Cruz Cauchi, who is three years old. Plus, filming is underway for Season 2 of The Valley. During this time, Jax decided to take care of his mental well-being.

Apparently, photos of Jax and his co-star, Danny Booko, recently made the rounds. The two were involved in a heated confrontation, reportedly while filming for The Valley.

But it looks like Jax’s complicated relationship with Brittany has hit him hard. “Jax has always been candid about his mental health struggles, especially during the past few months on his podcast,” a representative for Jax told TMZ. “He has made the decision to seek in-patient treatment. This is a particularly sensitive time for him and his family. They ask for privacy and respect until he is ready to speak more on this matter.”

Jax also hinted at his struggles in his recent Instagram Story. His post showed a photo of two books, titled Set Boundaries, Find Peace, and Get Out of Your Mind & Into Your Life. He captioned the post, “Healing.”

Recently, Jax also shared some thoughts about his separation from his wife. “Brittany and I are separated, and we’re just trying to figure it out. I’m not dating or anything, so, I don’t know, it’s confusing,” he stated. One minute it seems like the couple might reconcile, then it seems like they are moving towards a permanent split.

Since The Valley is filming now, viewers will probably see Jax caring for his mental health as one of the main storylines. Hopefully, this treatment will help Jax as he moves forward.

The Valley is now streaming on Peacock.
