Flagg lets Tracy lead their co-listing on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles Season 15, Episode 7! Last week, Flagg made the big decision to rebuild his Bedford home instead of selling it, and Altman sold his Trousdale listing at the 11th hour. This week, Tracy takes on the majority of the work for her co-listing with Flagg, and Josh and Matt sell the highest-priced listing ever in Encino. Here’s everything you need to know about Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles Season 15, Episode 7: “A Day at The Roxbury.”
The Altman brothers have 22 days to sell one of the most expensive homes in Encino on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles
Josh and Matt said “You snooze, you lose” when they swooped in to sell a home that already had a listing agent but no signed agreement yet. Was this ethical? According to Tracy, if there is no listing agreement signed, the home is fair game. Flagg added, “This is how Altman has done business in the past. It’s not shocking to me.” Altman said their motto was “Ready, fire, aim.” If there was an opportunity, they were taking it.
So, they jumped at the chance to sell a $25 million home in Encino, which would be a record breaking amount for that area. Ironically, it was a bargain price for the 20,000-square-foot home that looked like a mall. Matt and Josh were wowed. The seller told them they had 22 days until the home was staged and the agreement was signed with the other agent. Tick, tock!
Flagg needed help from Tracy on his Roxbury listing, so he asked her to co-list with him. He had fashion shows to attend in Paris, after all. Tracy said to Flagg, “I don’t know if you realize how snotty you sound.” Flagg clapped back, “Oh, I embrace it.” Tracy was happy it was priced reasonably at $8.595 million, but not happy that Flagg dumped this all on her. Flagg didn’t understand the big deal. They would split the commission 50/50, and the house would sell like hotcakes because of the price. Easy, peasy. However, Tracy knew that was never the case.
Tracy and Flagg’s planning meeting for their co-listing goes left on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles
There was trouble in paradise between Heather and Altman. The balance between family life and work was too much for Heather, and she needed Altman’s help. However, he couldn’t even drop off the kids at school because of his listing appointments. One of which was in the OC, and Altman asked if he could spend the night there instead of driving over in the morning. That got a hard no. Heather wanted Altman to graduate to the 21st century and sync his paper calendar into an app so they had access to each other’s schedules. After some pouting, he finally gave in. Still, Heather was worried about their communication and wanted to fix it before they were beyond repair.
Tracy wanted to get all her ducks in a row with Flagg for their co-listing before he left for Paris, so she had him over to her office for a planning meeting. Unsurprisingly, Flagg thought the meeting was a “waste of time.” She didn’t even have scones on the table! Tracy started to pitch ideas on how to make the open house more fun, and the group decided on a taco truck. Flagg claimed he would be the one to procure it, but Tracy doubted his ability to follow through. Their co-listing was getting more tense by the minute.
Heather spills the tea on her relationship with Altman
The Altman brothers had a few heavy hitters show up at the Encino listing. Everyone was amazed by the house, but they couldn’t visualize living there because there was no furniture. Could they stage a 20,000-square-foot home? Matt suggested virtually staging or spending the big bucks to stage several rooms. Josh was hesitant and thought it was a big gamble. But sometimes you need to bet big to win big.
Heather and Altman met with Tracy and Flagg to catch up on some skinny margs. Tracy told the group her co-listing with Flagg was “annoying as f*ck.” Flagg gasped, “Really?” Altman looked like the cat who ate the canary. But his tune quickly changed when Heather started spilling the tea about their relationship. She was tired of having to be everywhere all at once and wanted him to step up. Tracy agreed and told him Heather couldn’t be the CEO of their entire lives. Altman brushed it off; he said Heather knew who she married. He was only good at selling. But would that be good enough for Heather?
Flagg’s taco truck doesn’t entice any offers on Roxbury, but Altman strikes gold on the Encino listing
Contrary to what Tracy thought, Flagg did bring a taco truck. And he picked Tracy up in it and drove her to their Roxbury open house. Surely free tacos would bring them an offer. Tracy went full force and showed the home to potential buyers while Flagg scrolled on his phone. She observed, “He just sits on his ass like he’s at a friend’s house watching ice skating on a Sunday.” But he finally moved when some random dude named Tucker showed up only wearing a pair of gym shorts. Tracy said, “Leave a topless guy to come through the door to get Josh to go to work.” Yet even with all the foot traffic, free tacos, and Craigslist randos, there were still no offers.
Josh decided to take the gamble, and he and Matt staged the Encino home. This convinced their potential buyer, Cyrus, to put in an offer. He went in with $20 million, and the seller countered back with the original $25 million. Josh knew he had to fairly represent both the buyer and seller. Eventually, they agreed on an offer of $23.5 million. Matt was ecstatic to have sold the highest-priced listing in Encino. Josh noted that everyone gives him grief for working, but this was why he did it. He said he was going to take a vacation but would be back at it again in 24 hours.
Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles continues Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
