The Real Housewives of Atlanta had Phaedra Parks tap back into film for Season 16 after Kenya Moore’s dramatic departure. Porsha Williams has her peach back as well. After a shaky period of uncertainty, it seems like Frick and Frack might be able to save “The A.”
For a while now, RHOA fans have hoped for the show to bring back the fun, shade, and messy reads of its heyday. Phaedra seems to be hoping for the same outcome as well and had an opinion on one more ATL alum that could be a great re-addition… Kim Zolciak.
Phaedra Parks says, “I think everyone would love to see Kim come back”
First of all, is “everyone” in the room with us? Kim’s been busy lately. She filmed The Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets, which is currently airing. And, she and Kroy Biermann have been going through an ugly divorce, are in financial ruin, and are on the brink of foreclosure However, when PEOPLE recently asked Phaedra which RHOA alum she’d like to see back, Kim was her answer.
“If Kim Zolciak comes back, I think that would be very interesting. Kim is TV gold. She’s always been TV gold,” said Phaedra.
She continued, “Right now, she’s got a lot going on. Who would’ve thought Kim, who went from two daughters, now has got a whole little basketball team of children!”
Phaedra, who’s also kept busy with stints on The Traitors and Married to Medicine, believes Kim’s return would be an unexpected twist. “I think everyone would love to see Kim come back. She’s fun. I think it would add an element that the girls wouldn’t be expecting.” Um…
However, Phaedra also shared that the ladies of Season 16 have already been serving what long-time ATL fans have been longing for.
Additionally, “We were the No. 1 franchise of Housewives and I was a part of making that franchise a successful franchise. And I would love to bring the franchise back to its heyday.”
Phaedra concluded, “I will say this, it’s going to be an amazing season. I mean, it will definitely be reminiscent to the Housewives you love originally.”
Kim’s dipped her toe into the idea before, saying she’d “seriously consider” a RHOA return. So, never say never! She really could use that check, too.
Season 16 of Real Housewives of Atlanta is expected to premiere in 2025.
