You know how friends are there to stop you from making hasty decisions. In this instance, that friend is Heather Dubrow. And she’s imploring Gina Kirschenheiter to say no to bangs!
And Heather’s not the only one. Many fans of the Real Housewives of Orange County star immediately shut down the bangs idea when Gina posted it on her Instagram. She shared a video with the caption, “Please help me to help myself and tell me NOT to cut bangs…thank you in advance for your help.” In the video, she talked about how she’s been seeing a lot of bangs in social media posts and reels on Instagram and TikTok.
No more hair blunders for Gina Kirschenheiter, please
Gina posted a question to her social media followers and asked, “Am I gonna have to get bangs? Because I really feel like that’s just not in my best interest.”
It was a very self-aware post. After all, Gina has been the butt of several jokes about her hair and fashion sense. She recently made fun of herself for a confessional look on the show where she sported a metallic minidress and a teased bob.
So knowing that she walks a fine line between hair wins and losses, she gamely added, “I’m not gonna survive another bad hair blunder, we all know it. So, please help me to understand that we’re not, we’re not gonna do the bangs right?”
She didn’t have to wait long for a definitive answer. Fans and friends quickly flooded the comments advising her to steer clear of bangs.
The standout comment was from friend and fellow RHOC star, Heather Dubrow. Heather went straight to the point, and said, “JUST SAY NO.” She knows what it’s like to have bangs. She also received a host of mixed reactions when she had them several years ago.
Another fan completely agreed with Heather and added, “Friends don’t let friends cut bangs.”
Author Gary Janetti commented, “You’re just recovering from that interview look, do you really want to take this on Gina?”
Many recommended she try wigs or fake bangs to see if the look suited her but warned her away from cutting her hair. There were also a few who told her they’d support her and that she’s beautiful no matter what she chooses.
Bravo was on board to show their support by simply commenting, “We are here in your time of need.”
