It’s official! Lala Kent is a mother of two. The Vanderpump Rules star has welcomed her second child after her solo journey with intrauterine insemination (IUI). Lala shared the exciting news via social media, and we’re sending them all of the positive vibes.
Welcome to the world, Baby Number 2
Lala previously confirmed that she was due on September 1, so this update arrived right on time. She announced the news on her Instagram Story, but she kept things brief.
“Welcome into the world, my love,” Lala wrote on a blank black screen, along with the date “9.3.24.”
There’s no word on what she named her baby girl, but she previously teased that it would start with the letter “S.” That could be anything — Sea, Shirley, Sandoval, Stormy. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for that reveal.
Of course, the new baby already has an older sister, Ocean Kent, who Lala had with her ex Randall Emmett. When Lala announced baby number two earlier this year, she said her chaotic experience with Randall made her eager to go it alone this time.
“Like, I am so scarred from all of this sh-t that has happened in my life,” Lala explained. “I don’t want another person involved.”
Instead, Lala partnered with a fertility specialist and worked with the California Cryobank to select a donor. At the time, she said she was hoping to find someone who would help create a baby that resembled her. When it came time to choose, there were a few signs that helped her make the choice.
“The song that he chose as his favorite, and the poem, both had to do with the ocean,” Lala previously shared.
Now, all of that hard work has come to fruition, and Lala has officially expanded her pod. Meanwhile, we’re all over here freshing our feeds waiting to see the first pictures of this new bundle of joy.
