The interior drama on Below Deck Mediterranean continues as Carrie O’Neill rocks her job, and Elena Dubaich is feeling resentful. Meanwhile, chief stew Aesha Scott got to sit down to eat a meal for once. It was very refreshing.
In the mid-season trailer, Ellie was seen packing her bags. Clearly, whatever happened by the end, didn’t change anything in the Slovenian native’s understanding about her shortcomings as a stew.
And even less so now. Ellie appeared on the Below Deck After Show confused as to why Aesha would be so happy with a stew that focused on work, took initiative, and could do tasks without major instruction.
Elena Dubaich blamed “time restrictions” for the lower standard provided onboard
“Ummmm. I’m not sure what that is supposed to mean honestly,” she reacted to Aesha’s comment about Carrie being a “real yachtie.”
In a seperate clip, Aesha explained what she meant. The chief stew referenced Ellie’s tangible power trip when dealing with Bri Muller, as well as her concerns about being out-ranked by Carrie.
“She’s quick. She’s efficient. She urgent. And I really wished the other girls would take a leaf out of that book and stop worrying so goddamn much about how much power she has,” the New Zealand native said.
“What do you want from me anymore at this point? Like, I’ve done everything. I’ve done every single thing. Like, how am I not a real yachtie? I’ve been on so many yachts. I have experience. I’ve been busting my ass here the entire season. Like in what sense am I not a real yachtie? What are you talking about?” Ellie reacted.
She continued, “I had worked on large vessels. And in yachting, that means that you know very high standrads. Because the larger the vessel, the wealtheir the owner, and the higher the standards. And I take great pride in it. So if the standards needed to be somewhat adapted to the time restraints we had, without affecting the guests experience, that’s just the nature of the job we were in with the time restrictions we had.”
Ellie suggested that the crew couldn’t “Q-tip every little corner.” Rather they had enough time “to clean enough to make it presentable.”
Meanwhile, Aesha couldn’t praise Carrie enough during the After Show.
“She comes in, like the true yachtie that she is, and she doesn’t give two sh-ts about the drama, about the hierarchy, about any personal business. She keeps her head down, and she gets stuck in and she does her job,” the Bravolebrity concluded.
