After the latest United States presidential debate, Kamala Harris scored the highly-coveted endorsement of Taylor Swift. Now, she just earned the second most coveted endorsement. Kristen Doute just announced that she’s supporting the Harris/Walz ticket for 2024.
The Valley star took to her Instagram to share a thoughtful message about the upcoming 2024 U.S. elections and explained her support for President Harris in a way that everyone should be able to respect.

Obviously, anything that is even remotely related to U.S. politics gets people riled up. For that reason, Kristen asked her followers to read her message with “respect.” Is that going to happen? Probably not, but the sentiment is what’s important.
“I know that political points work people up on social media,” Kristen wrote. “However, we all deserve a voice. We all have the right to vote.”
From there, Kristen dug into the specific issues that led her to support Kamala. She said she wants to vote with her morals and ethics. Plus, she’s considering her future. She wants to be able to start a family with Luke Broderick someday, so reproductive freedom is crucial. They just got engaged after all!
The Vanderpump Rules alum explained, “My vote stands for my body, my rights, my ethics, and morals, my allyship with our LGBTQ+ community, AND my future (also, my hope of having children + their future).”
Kristen capped off her post by tagging Kamala and Tim Walz, adding “You have my vote.” Of course, you can imagine how excited they must have been to see Kristen’s name pop up in their IG notifications.
