The ladies of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are iconic AF. From harsh reads and hysterical retorts to their ever-changing alliances and chaotic storylines, every episode plays out like a masterpiece. The personalities within this cast are also vastly different, although equally chaotic and similarly over-the-top, giving us camp and WTF vibes for days. As Season 5 prepares to launch, we want to look back at the most iconic statements these women have spewed from Seasons 1 to 4. Hopefully, and also likely, RHOSLC Season 5 will clock in just as hard, blessing us with additional quotable quips and GIFs.

As Mary Cosby is turning her part-time role into a full-time snowflake, the memes will likely write themselves. To grant Mary a few extra honorable mention points, her lines “Your family needs nutrients” and “Bobblehead” reign secondhand supreme. Mary and her words, for better or for worse, are a messy duo.

“You called me a pornography” – Mary Cosby

Sometimes, words are hard, “little girl.” In Season 4, the cast traveled to the Trixie Hotel in Palm Springs, CA. In their sprinter van, Mary and Whitney Rose began arguing. “You called me a pornography, sweetheart. You said you were afraid for your family for me,” Mary stressed to Whitney.

Mary then continued accusing Whitney of calling her “a pornography,” adding, “You told the whole group you want to take me down. You went to the dirt for me.” In reply, Whitney explained, “I never said you do porn.” A confused Mary then stressed, “I didn’t say I’m porn.”

Rising from the dead in the corner, Heather Gay, who was feeling as sick as a dog, epically clocked in, lifting her weary, ill head, saying, “Predator.” Her head then lowered without any further statements made, as I, and likely many others, died laughing.

Mary then corrected herself, ending the confusion within their van. “You called me and my husband a predator,” Mary said. While her words now made sense, her former janky statement will forever live on, as legends do.

“You look like a trampoline with eyes” – Angie Katsanevas

In the same episode as above, an uninvited Angie Katsanevas appears, ready to hang out with the ladies in Palm Springs. She even arrived at the hotel early, snagging one of the better rooms. Meredith Marks was not a fan of this. Therefore, she and Angie shared several tense moments during this trip.

As for their fighting, Meredith called Angie “a pit bull.” Angie then replied, “You look like a trampoline with eyes.” During the Season 4 reunion, Angie explained that this was a compliment. Her words were about Meredith’s tight skin being pulled hard across her face.

Whether Angie was backtracking or not, her words came out of left field, making it an instantly iconic read. In the photoshoot for RHOSLC Season 5, Angie appears. Next to her is a literal tiny trampoline with eyes. This statement and oversized sunglasses are now her thing.

“You can leave” – Meredith Marks

Guess what? This section still finds us well in Palm Springs because RHOSLC Season 4 was larger than life. Several beats after Angie called Meredith a trampoline with eyes, Meredith collected her thoughts and let her liquor language take over. In an English accent, Meredith slowly stressed, “You. Can. Leave.”

Overnight, GIFs and reels began popping up, each using this iconic line. On X, aka the app formally known as Twitter, the rapper Megan Thee Stallion also joined in. Her presence in this room further marks this series as top-tier. When Megan posted her impression of Meredith, Meredith loved it so much that she shared it on her socials as well, making this a multi-leveled iconic quote from RHOSLC.

“You’re gonna go with Mary who f*cked her grandfather?!” – Jen Shah

Season 1 was unhinged in the best possible way. It was here that we learned about Mary and her romantic endeavors. CliffNotes: Mary is married to her step-grandfather. While the ladies were out to dinner, Jen Shah, who now lives in prison, used this little fact against Mary.

As Jen’s frustrations with Mary grew, Lisa Barlow exited the scene, disengaging from the drama. Her early exit ticked Jen off. Exasperated, Jen turned to Meredith, asking, “Are you Serious? You’re going to go with Mary, who f*cked her grandfather?”

Mary overheard this comment. Later, this memorable line of Jen’s led to an intense and emotional conversation between the pair at a ladies’ luncheon. It was a hot, highly watchable, definitely memorable mess.

“The ruuuumers, the nah-stiness.” – Meredith Marks

Returning to RHOSLC Season 4, during the same dinner that Angie called Meredith a trampoline’s twin, another iconic quote emerged. After Angie began taking jabs at Meredith’s business, the queen bee hostess with the most accents ordered Angie to exit their trip. When Angie failed to leave, Meredith walked away from their table, and Lisa followed.

Drunk and frustrated, Meredith quipped, “If I want to go for the jugular and talk about this sh*t, [gesturing back towards their restaurant], the rumors and nastiness about her…You know what? You want me to go there with her husband? I can go there,” she ended, in yet another strange accent.

This iconic quote created merch lines for days. In addition, Meredith later took to her socials, once again poking fun at herself online. Using a recorded clip of her filmed quote, Meredith created a new remix of her statement, like a pro. I stan when a Real Housewives star can fully enter into their owning-it eras, don’t you?

“I love that” – Lisa Barlow

Lisa loves to “love that.” Throughout her stay on RHOSLC, whenever something meets her approval, Lisa states, “I love that.” It’s a whole thing. And I am here for it.

Hysterically, in the trailer for RHOSLC Season 5, this iconic quote is about to become an entire thing. “I have a reservation for eight Lisas,” Lisa states, addressing a hostess at a restaurant. Behind her, eight Lisa look-alikes appear, all donning brunette wigs, all chanting, “I love that.”

The ladies also start posing for selfies, fully becoming one with their new Lisa-adjacent personas. I have watched this clip multiple times, clearly excited to see Lisa’s iconic line becoming a decently-sized new storyline, or at least a hysterical scene, for Season 5.

Mary is like a gift that keeps on giving. She has many memorable quotes, as evidenced here. Yet, her first obscure line set the tone for who she is and what we can expect from this series. Addressing Jen, Mary stated, “You smell like [a] hospital.”

Jen had been spending a lot of time with a medically fragile relative. In contrast, Mary has a rocky past with hospitals, so when Jen drew near, allowing Mary to smell whatever she smelt, Mary could no longer contain her opinions. Filters are a thing. But Mary knows nothing about that, and selfishly, I am glad.

Petty banter gives me life. And Mary gives the best quotes, whether she means to or not.

“Receipts! Proof! Timeline! Screenshots! F*cking everything!” – Heather Gay

When I say RHOSLC Season 4 was one for the books, I mean it. During the finale, Heather collected enough proof to bring Monica Garcia down. Monica was behind a blog that spoke negatively about some of these ladies, so when Heather found out, she gathered her cast together, eager to expose this narrative. As the storms rolled in overhead, theatrically darkening this scene, Heather revealed her findings, letting everyone know she had “Receipts! Proof! Timeline! Screenshots! F*cking everything” gathered.

This iconic quote then became a movement. Well-known names began using Heather’s filmed declarations, inserting her words into their various life narratives. For example, while readying herself for Broadway, Ariana Madix danced and lipsynched along to a remixed version of this statement. Likewise, Heather’s words also appeared at the Democratic National Convention, proving the far-reaching impact of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
