In the past, we’ve seen Ariana drag trolls for a variety of reasons. One person tried to criticize her hosting gig on Love Island USA. She effortlessly read them in less than 100 characters. Another person weirdly told her to “work on her legs.” She threatened to snap their neck. The latest person who strolled into her comments insulted Daniel Wai, so Ariana had to let them have it.
Kudos to the Vanderpumpaholics Reddit thread for unearthing this moment. Some random person left a comment under a picture of Ariana and Daniel and said, “She can do so much better.” They tried to justify the nasty comment by saying they were “just stating the facts.” In response, Ariana dropped some “facts” of her own.
“Just stating facts.” Ariana wrote. “Balding, red nose, beady eyes, no lips, sun damage.. idk, if that’s your wife but she could do much better.”
Of course, we don’t normally celebrate attacking anyone’s appearance, but this person started it, right? Plus, how are you going to say anything bad about Daniel and those luscious locks? He and Ariana seem super happy together, and that is what’s most important.
Ultimately, let this be a reminder of the golden rule for Instagram. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it all. You never know when the person you’re trying to shade will come back at you tenfold.
