Season 5 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City had a flaming start. Lisa Barlow hosted a Galentine’s Dinner, which quickly evolved into everyone fighting with Whitney Rose. Lisa, Heather Gay, and Meredith Marks all accused Whitney of lying. The result? Whitney gave Lisa a one-finger salute and stormed out. Of course, after last season’s Reality Von Tease scandal, Monica Garcia didn’t return to the show. And Meredith had some thoughts on the subject.
Meredith Marks hasn’t communicated with Monica Garcia since the reunion
Recently, Meredith spoke to US Weekly about Season 5 of RHOSLC. “You know, back in April, Andy [Cohen] said that he would want Monica to come back in some form in the future. How would you feel about that?” Christina asked. “I mean, that’s not up to me in any capacity, you know? And Andy has a lot more say in that than I do,” Meredith replied.
“It was interesting because I spoke to some of the ladies and they just said, ‘Sure. Maybe. But there’s no way that she would probably even fit in with this dynamic going forward,’” Christina stated.
“Yeah. I mean I almost feel like, and look, maybe I’m wrong. This is just my opinion. I can’t speak for Monica,” Meredith explained. She continued, “I haven’t talked to her. I don’t really know what she thinks about all of it but I would imagine that Monica would prefer to do a different show at this point. You know, it would make more sense.” Maybe Wheel of Fortune?
Then Christina asked if she, or any of her co-stars, ever received an apology from Monica. “I can’t speak for anybody else because I don’t know, but I haven’t communicated with her … no, not since the reunion,” Meredith responded.

Meanwhile, Monica hasn’t been shy about sharing her thoughts about the RHOSLC cast. She was furious over the way that the cast ganged up on Whitney at Lisa’s “Besos” Galentine’s Dinner. Then, Monica alleged that she almost had a spot during Season 5. Almost. “They actually tried to bring me in toward the end of the season for Season 5 and you can thank a couple of motherf*ckers for threatening to quit if Bravo brought me back,” she previously claimed.
Well, it was clear from the Season 4 reunion that none of the ladies wanted to film with Monica. And after being put through the hell of Reality Von Tease, I don’t think that will change.
