Lily Collins isn’t shy to admit she’s a fan of The Real Housewives of Orange County. So much so, that she took it upon herself to educate her in-laws, Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen, about the ins and outs of the famous reality TV franchise.
The Emily in Paris star told Andy Cohen all about it on Watch What Happens Live. She was visiting with her co-star Ashley Park to dish and talk about their hit Netflix show.

Andy mentioned to Lily that he received a video over the summer that blew his mind. The video in question was Lily with her husband Charlie McDowell and her in-laws Ted and Mary in Denmark crowded around and watching the Bravo reality TV show.
“We were watching the premiere of the Real Housewives of OC,” Lily confirmed with a laugh knowing exactly what video Andy was referring to. The host went on to ask her about her having to explain what was going on to Ted and Mary.
“You were having to explain it all to Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen,” Andy confirmed. “How did that go?”
Still smiling Lily recalled her experience giving her in-laws the 411 on the Real Housewives.
“That was interesting,” she admitted. “Because Charlie, my husband, watches it with me so he and I were with Nathan (Turner) and Eric (Hughes) kind of doing charades trying to explain ‘So then this person, but that was with that person, and then she got a DUI, and this happened.’”
It was a lot of information to process and Ted Danson had to quickly clarify, “Wait, who’s Jesus Jugs?!” (referring to Alexis Bellino who has made her RHOC comeback), to which Lily assured him that he would eventually figure it out.
Looks like she and Nathan were doing the Lord’s work and spreading the good news of the lovely ladies of Orange County. With her unbridled enthusiasm, she has probably converted them into fans of the show!
