By now, it’s pretty clear to Below Deck Mediterranean viewers that deckhand Joe Bradley really, really likes the ladies.
He couldn’t seem to keep his hands off the interior crew and tried to have his way with everyone except Chief Stew Aesha Scott. Aesha already had a boyfriend at home (now her fiancé), so she wasn’t interested.
By the end of the season, he was persona non grata with nearly every woman on the boat. But apparently, it got worse once the cameras went down.
Elena Dubaich is still jealous of Bri Muller and Joe Bradley
Joe bounced from Bri Muller to Elena Dubaich, back to Bri, and finally ended the season pursuing the new hire, Carrie O’Neill. But sadly, he got so drunk on the final night of the season that he wasn’t able to seal the deal with Carrie, even though she was more than willing, and ended up all alone in his cabin. Needless to say, he left a few hurt feelings along the way, especially where Ellie’s concerned.
At approximately 3:36 in the above video, Joe claims, “I’m [still] friends with absolutely everyone. I can even say I’m still friends with Ellie. But she’s blocked me, and she’s blocked Bri.”
“When we did meet up with each other in Florida,” Joe continues, “[Ellie] was badmouthing Bri like she was a rat, like she was nothing on Earth. And I didn’t like that. She’s not happy that I’m friends with Bri.”
“Maybe I’m wrong,” Joe adds, “[but] she doesn’t like the fact that me and Bri met up in LA. Nothing happened with her, that’s the thing. So what is she gonna say?”
“When he stayed at my place,” Ellie picks up the story, “he bought me flowers, he wrote a nice card. I was like, ‘Oh, my God! This is so sweet’ … So I offered him a massage. I was offering him a professional treatment. I was a masseuse on a cruise ship, [but] he panicked so much!” Hold up. Most guys I know would take that as an invitation to have sex.
Ellie didn’t like being rejected — again
“She said, ‘Don’t be scared. It’s only a massage,'” Joe says. But he didn’t want a “massage” from Ellie. “That’s just how it is. I’ve got no interest sexually [in her].”
“He panicked and told me he can’t come for the massage,” Ellie continues, “cause his grandmother is dying, she’s in the hospital, he’s waiting for a phone call from his mother any minute now. We’re in Florida. Your grandmother is in the UK. It’s 2:00 am in the UK right now … Who’s calling you from the hospital at 2:00 in the morning?” Obviously, Ellie’s never had a loved one dying in the hospital. They let you stay till all hours when someone’s at death’s door.
Ellie accused Joe of “making up excuses … I wasn’t going to ‘harass’ him in any way. Mind you, he told me he could never post a picture with me, [he] never let me post the flowers he bought me, ’cause he didn’t want people to talk. Next thing I know, he’s in LA with Bri, posting 15 stories with Bri, rubbing it in my face.”
After that, Ellie blocked both Joe and Bri on social media. “She’s 32 years of age,” Joe says. “We just had a lovely experience together, and you block me? And Bri?”
“I’m sorry,” Ellie explains. “You stayed at my place. You don’t even have the respect to post one picture with me to say thank you? But you go to LA and post all these stories with Bri? … I blocked him after that … We’re done.”
“[Bri and I] went out,” Joe said. “and we had a kiss, but that’s it.”
