Sister Wives Star Mykelti Brown ‘Ready To Be Done’ Having Kids After ‘Miserable’ Pregnancy

Sister Wives’ offspring Mykelti Brown Padron loves her three beautiful children. But after going through a miserable experience carrying twins, she doesn’t think she ever wants to be pregnant again.

In a sneak peek of the September 29 episode, Mykelti talks about her now 22-month-old twin sons, Archer Banks and Ace McCord. She and her husband, Tony Padron, welcomed the boys in November 2022.

At the time the episode was filmed, Mykelti was heavily pregnant with her twins and extremely uncomfortable. “I’m ready to be done,” she admitted. “Hopefully, knock on wood, this is the last time I will ever be pregnant again.”

“Pregnancy is miserable; It is literally awful,” says Mykelti Brown

The mom of three, including three-year-old Avalon, told cameras in a confessional, “I love the idea of, in the future, maybe having more kids, but they will not come out of my body. Pregnancy is miserable. It is literally awful.”

I’m sure carrying multiple babies is tough, but many moms would disagree about pregnancy being miserable. I loved every minute of my pregnancy. It was the delivery that was “literally awful.”

In People’s sneak peek, Mykelti was sad when her doctor advised her to deliver her twins via C-section. But as she told her family, “I’ve come to terms with it. Like, I’m going to get over the fact that I can’t have them vaginally, but I’m not too happy about it.”

“But you’ll be able to see it, too, they were saying,” her mom Christine added in an effort to be positive. She must have been present for the doctor’s explanation of the procedure.

Mykelti responded, “I’ll have a curtain over in front of my face, so I won’t be able to see them actually do the procedure. But Doctor Bean did say that he would put a mirror down there, so if I wanted to, I could.”

“Sign me up for that,” Christine said excitedly. “So cool!” Mykelti is still close to her mom, though she and her dad, Kody Brown, seem to have had some kind of falling out.

Mykelti finally decided that watching herself give birth was a good idea. “I want to see it because, if I can’t feel it, I want to at least know what’s going on,” she realized. “I’m really excited about [the procedure] tomorrow.”

Sister Wives airs Sundays at 10/9c on TLC.
