Love Is Blind Season 7 released its first batch of episodes last week and we are already hooked. This season features singles from Washington D.C. and the pods eventually closed with six successful couples. Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans were the first couple to get engaged in the pods, followed by Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis. It didn’t take long for Stephen Richardson to pop the question to Monica Davis, making them the season’s third official couple.
After connecting on a deep emotional level in the pods, Alexandra Byrd and Tim Godbee also got engaged. Hannah Jiles also accepted a proposal from Nick Dorka, after being torn between him and Leo Braudy. Last but not least, Ramses Prashad asked Marissa George to marry him which she happily accepted. While Leo did get engaged to Brittany Wisniewski, they broke up shortly after leaving the pods and didn’t go to Mexico with the rest of the couples.
While Season 7 is off to a good start with six couples, not all of them are exactly in the honeymoon phase. Some of these couples are head over heels but others are already having issues. Here are our predictions on which couples will make it and which ones will not be so lucky.
Taylor and Garrett will probably get married on Love Is Blind Season 7
Taylor and Garrett were the first couple to get engaged and we’re pretty sure that they’ll end up getting married. The couple had an instant connection in the pods over their quirky love of science. As the days went on, Taylor and Garrett discovered they also had the same dry sense of humor.
During the reveal, it was evident that the pair also had a strong physical attraction to one another. Their time in the real world so far hasn’t been awkward at all and they’re still connecting as they were in the pods. Taylor and Garrett both seem intent on learning more about one another as well as their families, which are already great signs.
Ashley and Tyler are also likely to wed on Love Is Blind Season 7
Ashley and Tyler are probably this season’s strongest couple behind Taylor and Garrett. In the pods, Ashley and Tyler instantly bonded. Tyler opened up to Ashley about the struggles he faced during his childhood and she listened and consoled him. From the jump, it was clear that Ashley and Tyler cared for one another. Sometimes the couples on Love Is Blind feel doomed from the start but that certainly isn’t the case for Ashley and Tyler.
Following their reveal, the chemistry between the pair only appears to be growing. They haven’t had any disagreements and seem intent on going through with the wedding. It would be a real shock if something ended up coming between these two.
Monica and Stephen might not make it to the altar on Love Is Blind Season 7
During Love Is Blind Season 6, only two couples made it to the altar despite there being five who got engaged. Unfortunately for Monica and Stephen, it’s looking like they may be one of those couples who call it quits beforehand. In the pods, Monica and Stephen definitely connected but not on as deep of a level as some of the other couples.
Monica and Stephen’s reveal was also slightly awkward, as it was unclear whether Monica was attracted to Stephen. After arriving in Mexico, however, it didn’t take long for Monica to rain on Stephen’s parade. While having a conversation, Monica asked Stephen to stop talking so that she could speak. Despite her request, Monica didn’t really say anything after the fact. It seems like something isn’t connecting for Monica and Stephen and they may not have much longer together.
Alexandra and Tim will likely break up soon on LIB Season 7
In the pods, Alexandra and Tim were a couple you wanted to root for. The pair truly opened up to one another and seemed to really connect. Tim shared with Alexandra that he had lost both of his older sisters and even gifted her with a bracelet that belonged to one of them. Alexandra, on the other hand, opened up about her parent’s struggle with multiple sclerosis.
Unfortunately, chaos ensued for Alexandra and Tim as soon as they arrived in Mexico. The couple’s chemistry wasn’t as strong as it was in the pods and they both seemed to pick up on it. One night, things escalated so severely between the pair that they had a huge fight that didn’t end up airing. Tim later claimed that Alexandra had been disrespectful and had even gotten in his face. Sometimes as much as you want to root for couples on Love Is Blind, some connections simply aren’t meant to be outside the pods.
Season 7 might see Hannah and Nick splitting soon
Hannah and Nick’s relationship was one of the more complicated ones in the pods. From the first day, Hannah was torn between Nick and Leo. While she eventually chose Nick, she felt insecure after their reveal due to worrying that they were too close in size. Once they got to Mexico, however, Hannah took things a step further. She insisted that she normally went for taller guys, which seemed hypocritical as she didn’t want Nick to judge her for her appearance.
As they spent more time together in person, it became clear that Hannah and Nick might not have connected as well as they thought. Hannah even claimed that Nick gave her the ick, which is never a good sign. During the group meet-up, Nick revealed that Hannah had left him a note with things she didn’t like about him. If Hannah and Nick continue on this path, there probably won’t be good things ahead for them.
Marissa and Ramses could go either way right now
The only couple I don’t have a concrete prediction for are Marissa and Ramses. During their time in the pods, Marissa and Ramses had a more playful connection. They definitely bonded but not on a super deep level as far as we saw. At their reveal, however, the couple seemed very attracted to one another which made things seem hopeful.
While Marissa and Ramses haven’t run into any hiccups yet, their connection isn’t the strongest either. Marissa also had a connection with Bohdan Olinares in the pods, which was pretty strong as well. Choosing Ramses over Bohdan seemed somewhat random and it wasn’t clear why she did it. When Marissa meets Bohdan in person, it’s possible she may question her decision. For now, however, Marissa and Ramses do have a shot at working out.
