John Janssen is suing his ex, Shannon Beador. He helped finance her facelift, but Shannon failed to pay him back, as in her mind, these gifted funds were just that, a gift. However, John noted that he gave Shannon these funds as a loan, so she needs to show him the money (without a disparagement clause attached). Cue Tamra Judge with an opinion, further upholding her statements made this season on Real Housewives of Orange County. Tamra still stands with John, stating that he and Shannon “weren’t even together when he loaned her this money.”

Shannon tried to skirt this lawsuit by paying John back. However, John said no to her offer. He desired to keep his voice, please and thank you. He then filed this lawsuit, on which Tamra has some thoughts.
While speaking to US Weekly, Tamra explained that John is not holding on to those often-talked-about drunken tapes as a form of blackmail against his ex. In the words of Tammy Sue, this “is something that Shannon made up.” Alleged lies like this are why John never wants to sign a piece of paper that could (potentially) eradicate his voice.
However, Shannon’s settlement offer contained several additional nope factors, which caused John to turn her offer down. According to Tamra, “There were a lot of stipulations with giving the money. It [Shannon’s offer] was not the full [asked for] amount. It was a payment plan. There were a lot of things that she [Shannon] wanted signed,” Tamra began.
Apparently, “there is an email thread” that will vindicate John. This thread proves that Shannon knew about his funds arriving as a loan, not a gift. And from what Tamra understands, Shannon and John “were not even together when he loaned her this money.” Their relationship status further proves this was a loan, as who on earth would gift their ex with such a nice little treat?
As for Shannon, if she does not settle this lawsuit soon, we can likely expect to see even more of this storyline on RHOC.
