Alexis Bellino has support from her Real Housewives of Orange County co-star Tamra Judge. It’s been somewhat of a surprise since the two have a history of not getting along. But the duo made up at BravoCon. The dynamic is completely different this time around with Alexis and Tamra filming together.
In support of Alexis, Tamra denounced the backlash against her. And in a recent interview, the RHOC veteran has sympathetic comments about her co-star.
Tamra Judge thinks Alexis Bellino is “riding way too hard” for John
Tamra told Us Weekly what her perspective was about Alexis’ performance this season.
“Alexis and I made up at BravoCon. I had no idea at that time, that she was in talks to come back. And she wasn’t dating John at that time. They met later on,” Tamra said of what she knew about early conversations with Bravo.
She continued, “And Alexis would call me, this was months later after she had told me that she was in negotiations. And she said, ‘You know what, I don’t know if the timing is good because I am dating John now. And I just don’t want to kick Shannon when she’s down.’ That was her mindset going in.”
Tamra admitted that Alexis’ actions this season could be confusing for some viewers. She said, “And then you watch the show and you’re like, ‘Wait, this is everything that she said she didn’t want to do.'”
The RHOC veteran thinks Alexis is “riding way too hard for John.” Both parties are focused on how to “clear his name.’
“Shannon would drink, and then call us all and say horrible things about him that weren’t necessarily true,” Tamra explained.
However, John and Alexis’ quest for validation is “definitely backfiring.” So much so, that Tamra questions whether her co-star will be back next season.
“I hope so,” Tamra said when asked if she wanted to see Alexis back. “I mean, I would like to see her in a full-time role where we can see her kids and her life. Maybe her wedding next year. I’m really hoping so. But I think right now she feels very defeated. She’s very upset. She’s very hurt. And I don’t know if that’s what she’s thinking right now.”
