Season 5 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s breakout star might be Angie Katsanevas. She is involved in the drama, but also gives us some lighter moments. During the Season 5 RHOSLC premiere, she presented Meredith Marks with a scroll at Lisa Barlow’s Galentine’s party. Listed were all the items that Angie felt Meredith should apologize for. As usual, Meredith refused to engage or apologize. While Lisa and Angie have been butting heads, there may be some hope in the future.
Angie Katsanevas has “invested a lot of time” in friendship with Lisa Barlow
During Lisa’s dinner party, Lisa confronted Whitney about calling her “a villain.” However, when Lisa realized that Angie told Whitney what she had said about her, she was furious at Angie. In a shocking moment, Lisa threw a glass. Pretty soon all the housewives will be drinking out of plastic sippy cups. Meanwhile, Meredith and Heather Gay also confronted Whitney, leading to a screaming match that horrified some of the guests.
And if you thought that the ladies were only fighting on camera, you would be wrong. Angie hopped into a shady social media feud with Lisa and Meredith. This season, Angie is the center snowflake, and she doesn’t back down.
Recently, when she was asked if there was a chance of mending her relationship with Lisa, Angie told US Weekly, “You know, I’m always hopeful. We have history. I think I invested a lot of time in the friendship. She invested a lot of time in the friendship,” she added.
Angie continued, “And you know, I guess we have to just wait and see you know how things go at the reunion. I haven’t really seen her much and um … last time I saw her, it was a positive interaction … in person.” Really? That doesn’t sound very positive. She added, “And some strange things have happened since, but I’ll see her at the reunion, and hopefully, we can just talk it through.”
Somehow, I don’t see a peaceful discussion between Lisa and Angie happening during the reunion. Maybe an off-camera moment could bring the two together. But so far, it looks like there will be a whole bunch of drama to unpack during the Season 5 RHOSLC reunion.
