Whitney Rose Postpones WWHL Appearance as Daughter Remains in ICU

Keep Whitney Rose and her family in your thoughts right now. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star has been forced to postpone her upcoming appearance on Watch What Happens Live. The news comes as her 14-year-old daughter, Bobbie Rose, remains hospitalized in the ICU.

Whitney Rose will stay by her daughter’s side

According to Us Weekly, Whitney was scheduled to appear on WWHL on Wednesday, October 9. However, her reps confirmed that she would skip the taping to remain with her daughter.

Earlier this week, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star asked for prayers after Bobbi was taken by ambulance to the ICU. Whitney explained that she experienced a severe asthma reaction.

On Tuesday, October 8, Whitney shared on social media that her daughter had seen a “bit of improvement” after receiving treatments at the hospital. But, she noted that there’s still “a long way to go.” They aren’t out of the woods just yet.

Whitney wrote, “Thank you for all of your prayers, they are felt and working. Thank you for understanding our desire for privacy at this time, as you can imagine this has been very stressful. Bobbie is so brave and strong.”

She continued, “Thank you to everyone here is [sic] Primary Children’s Hospital. You all are earth angels!”

Mary Cosby to the rescue

With Whitney backing out of her WWHL appearance, the producers had a chair to fill. However, they’ve confirmed that Mary M. Cosby will fill in as Whitney’s replacement, which is perfect for so many reasons.

Not only are Whitney and Mary building a friendship right now, but Mary has only made two other in-person appearances inside the Watch What Happens Live clubhouse. Most of Mary’s WWHL appearances have been virtual thanks to a nasty little pandemic that struck right around the same time as RHOSLC Season 1.

So, get ready to see Mary bring her wits and her fashion to Andy Cohen’s doorstep. In the meantime, we’ll all keep sending our positive thoughts to Whitney.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs new episodes on Wednesday nights at 9/8c,
