Bachelorette star Jenn Tran didn’t find her fairytale ending with Devin Strader. At the end of her season, they became engaged. Later, Devin dumped Jenn via a phone call, claiming that he never was in love with her. Ouch! Enter Dancing with the Stars. Jenn slipped on her dancing shoes and hit the ballroom with her partner, Sasha Farber. And let’s just say that Jenn is thrilled to dedicate her performance next week to Taylor Swift.
Jenn Tran says that her performance will “be the best night of my life”
During Jenn and Sasha’s first two performances, they were scored a bit low by the judges. But then Jenn came roaring back and started to get some better scores. During Hair Metal Night, her Paso Doble with Sasha landed them in third place on the leaderboard. And her knee walks were amazing!
However, next week is Dedication Night. This episode is usually very emotional. But Jenn is pumped to perform. She is dancing to an “emotional” song by Taylor. “This is going to be the best night of my life, the best week of my life,” Jenn told Page Six, “just like dancing to this song over and over.”
She added, “I’m dedicating it to Taylor Swift and anybody who knows me knows I’m the biggest friggin’ Swiftie ever. I’m over the f*cking moon about this.” Wow. Get ready, Swifties!
“I’m really excited to be here and to learn how to dance is a dream in and of itself. To be here and to learn how to dance and to dance to a Taylor Swift song, like, I’m gonna cry,” Jenn explained. “It’s a very personal song that I’ll be dancing to. It’s a very personal story and I think a lot of people will relate to it,” she added.
While Jenn couldn’t share which Taylor song she would be dancing to, she said it was “an emotional” track. She did share that she may drop some hints via TikTok. But more importantly, will Sasha transform into Travis Kelce for the performance? “No, it’s a different message … it’s a great song,” Sasha told Page Six.
Jenn was proud of her Hair Metal Night Paso Doble
After their powerful Paso Doble, Jenn stated, “I feel amazing. I was in a mood all day, I was in my head, like, ‘I don’t know if I’m going to pull this off.’ Last second I was honestly like, ‘F*ck this, I’m just gonna lay it all out there,’ and I really felt like [I did].”
Both the judges and DWTS fans have noticed the chemistry and affection between Sasha and Jenn. Maybe this will be the next couple to fall in love in the ballroom.
