Fans have been gifted a second season of The Secret Life of Mormon Wives. So, now it is time to obsess over who will be in the cast. Of course, Whitney Leavitt is a question mark because she quit MomTok. And then we have Jen Affleck. Some of her struggles with her husband, Zac Affleck, played out during Season 1. Recently, eagle-eyed fans noticed that she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring in a TikTok video. So, could their marriage be in trouble?
Why isn’t Jen Affleck wearing her wedding ring?
In that TikTok, Jen is dancing around her house with her two kids getting in on the action. There have been questions about Zac and Jen’s marriage since he rage-texted her after she set foot in a Chippendales. However, Jen left before the show started, but Zac still blasted her and threatened divorce.
A source told PEOPLE that Jen and Zac are fine and that Jen often doesn’t wear her ring. And Zac isn’t upset by it. That seems odd, but okay. The insider added that the couple are currently filming Season 2 of the show.
During the Season 1 finale, Jen and Zac checked out New York City, where Zac was accepted for medical school. Plus, the couple have sold their home in Utah. More questions about Jen’s participation in the show came up after she reportedly left MomTok.
Jen spoke to Jessi Ngatikaura, who later dropped the news on Demi Engemann. “Jen told me that she’s leaving MomTok because of Zac. He doesn’t want her associated with us,” Jessi said. “I am really sad that this is just a continuous pattern that’s not getting better.”
Are Jen and Zac related to Ben Affleck?
Besides questions about their marriage, the couple are also embroiled in questions about their relationship to Hollywood star Ben Affleck. During an episode of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Jen explained that Zac’s dad, David Affleck, is Ben’s cousin. Later, it was discovered that the familial connection “is absolutely not true.” However, Zac and Jen have not publicly addressed the issue.
Hopefully, Jen can still be part of MomTok and is filming with the other ladies. And if there are any trips in Season 2? Let’s leave the significant others at home.
