Daisy Kelliher Was ‘Nervous’ Doing Below Deck Sailing Yacht Without Colin MacRae

Following the tumultuous Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 Reunion, Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher wasn’t feeling her imminent return to the Parsifal III.

Following Season 4’s love triangle with Colin MacRae and Gary King, the reunion was very tense. Colin chose not to return to the show, while Daisy dreaded going back. She also felt that Gary abandoned her at the end of Season 4. She was sad and alone and only had two days to recover before she was due to start filming Season 5.

Before filming the reunion, Daisy says, “I was really excited to film the new season, put everything behind us … And then we filmed the reunion … That just made everything a lot worse.”

The Season 4 reunion stirred up all of Daisy Kelliher’s emotions

The rehashing of the events of Season 4 at the reunion stirred up all the feelings Daisy thought she’d already dealt with. “I just felt anger,” she tells ET. “I love my job, [and] I love Parsifal, love filming a season and working on the boat. [But] at that moment, I just felt kind of angry and resentful.”

Even though she didn’t start the season in a happy mood, Daisy says, “It did dissipate … I can’t hold a grudge against anyone. I’m too busy trying to have a good time.”

Daisy was asked how she felt when her former love interest Colin decided not to return to the show. Even though she respected his decision to take a step back, “Obviously, I was a bit nervous doing the season without him,” she admits. “But I was happy for him to go and do what he wanted to do. I felt very confident that we’d get another great engineer, and we’d have another great season with or without him.”

“We know how the romantic part ended,” the interviewer says. (Spoiler Alert: it was ugly and there were lots of tears.) “Have you found your way back to friendship with Colin?”

“I would say we’re civil,” Daisy responds. “If we were ever in the same place, I’d happily go for a drink … [But] do we keep in constant contact? I would say no.”

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo.
