During Season 18 of Real Housewives of Orange County, one of my favorites, Alexis Bellino, returned. Of course, Alexis expected the show to be fun and full of petty drama. Instead, she was bombarded with hate because of her relationship with John Janssen. Alexis’ new fiancé is also Shannon Beador’s former boyfriend. So, Alexis felt compelled to stand up for her man. It was a lot for the RHOC cast, and fans, to handle. And now Shannon is claiming that Alexis is involved in two lawsuits against her.

Shannon, Alexis, and Tamra Judge all visited Bravo HQ to discuss this legal mess. As you may recall, Alexis was married to Jim Bellino. And in 2018, Jim hit Tamra and Shannon with a defamation lawsuit. Recently, John also sued Shannon for $75,000 that he reportedly loaned her for a facelift while they were dating. According to Shannon, this money was a gift, not a loan.
“Anyone that would say, ‘It’s odd that Alexis has been around two men that have sued Shannon,’ I would say, ‘Yeah, it’s kind of crazy,'” Alexis stated. “I have nothing to do with either [lawsuit].”
As for the defamation case, Shannon still holds a grudge against Alexis. “I lost $300,000 defending myself, and I didn’t do anything wrong. I won the case and the appeal,” Shannon said. Meanwhile, Tamra lost $500,000 thanks to the lawsuit.
Shannon continued, “I really have zero interest in becoming friends with the woman who started the ball rolling on the defamation lawsuit that I had against her ex-husband.” In the video on Bravo HQ, the screen showed text messages that Alexis sent Shannon. “We have engaged an attorney and will be suing you and Tamra,” the text read. Another section read, “You will be hearing from our attorney.”
So, Alexis tried to explain why she sent the text. “This is where Shannon thinks I was involved: I sent the text to Shannon and Tamra for my ex-husband at the time. He called me very upset,” she explained. “Someone gave me [Shannon’s] cell phone [number], so I texted her and Tamra and I said, you know, ‘Please just shut your mouth and this will be happening. Our attorney will be contacting you.'” I guess that makes sense.

Even Tamra agreed with Alexis. “Alexis really wasn’t involved in [the lawsuit]. It was her ex-husband that filed it. Her name was not on it,” Tamra stated. “There was nothing.”
However, Shannon had one ace up her sleeve. “Alexis denies that she was involved at all,” Shannon stated, “but she did send a cease-and-desist type letter to me. And I have it.”
As for Johnny J’s lawsuit against Shannon? “I hate to say it but I did tell [John] to settle when she offered $45,000. He’s like, ‘That’s not enough. She owes me 75 [thousand dollars],'” Alexis said. “I don’t blame him that he’s like, ‘Just pay me what you owe me.’ And that’s it. That’s all he wants.”
