In this week’s episode, Angie’s 25th Anniversary party turns into the Red Wedding, as everybody’s fighting about something. Lisa’s hurt that Angie criticized her parenting. Mary’s still talking about Heather’s “trail of lies.” Heather confronts Bronwyn about “meddling” in the relationship between her and Angie. Lisa’s talk with Whitney escalates, as she threatens to sue everybody accusing her of spreading rumors about Whitney’s jewelry business. And just when Britani tries to move on and brings a date to Angie’s party, Justin invites Jared to “stop by.”

Here are some of the highlights from RHOSLC Season 5, Episode 6.

Angie’s Greek Mafia Anniversary Party

The episode opens in black and white. In voiceover, Angie narrates, “This thing I have with my friends is not always copacetic. I’ve had my eye on them for a while. And let me tell you, no one is innocent … So I’m gonna make them an offer they can’t refuse.” Actually, it’s just an invitation to Angie’s 25th anniversary party. Cute! I love a theme.

All the guests are arriving at Angie’s house. Things are awkward between Lisa and Angie right now. “But as friends of 15 years, it would have been wrong not to include her in my anniversary celebration,” Angie says.

When Britani arrives, she brings a date, Aaron, who Heather has actually dated in the past. Now that’s awkward.

Mary shoves through the crowd, saying, “Excuse me. Hi, Jared!” Britani quickly corrects her and says that this is Aaron, not Jared. That’s embarrassing.

Everybody’s getting along and enjoying the party until Bronwyn decides to stir up some sh*t. She tells Angie, “Lisa’s very hurt that Heather told her something that you said about … Lisa’s parenting.” Heather passed on that Angie said something about Lisa’s son playing video games till 2:00 in the morning. Hey, I raised a teenage boy. Don’t they all do that these days? What’s the problem?

As if their Twitter fighting isn’t already bad enough, Bronwyn adds, “Heather starts little fires and then backs away and watches them burn.” Isn’t that exactly what you’re doing now, Bronwyn?

Bronwyn justifies her behavior by saying, “I don’t like that Heather’s been talking behind Angie’s back, especially when Heather has hung me out to dry for everything that’s come out of my mouth … So, I think everybody should pay for what they’ve said.” Fair enough!

Mary’s still obsessed with Heather’s “trail of lies”

While Mary’s still arguing with Lisa about Heather’s “trail of lies,” Heather walks over and asks, “What are you talking about?” And they’re off.

Mary keeps saying that Heather lies about everything, but she can’t seem to get specific. When Heather says she’s been a good friend to her and to name a time that she’s been bad to Mary, Mary shoots back, “Name a time that you’ve been good to me!”

“Arguing with Mary is like arguing with the Mormon Church,” Heather interviews. “You’re gonna get gaslit, they’re gonna tell you that what you’re saying is not true, and they’re gonna tell you they never hurt you … But [Mary’s] been horrible to me, and I didn’t forget.”

After refusing to hug it out with Heather and Lisa, Mary goes and sits on a couch next to Angie’s daughter, Elektra, and another little girl. “Whew! That was a big argument,” she tells them. “It made my feet start hurting. I think I’m okay with Heather now. I could keep going, but I’m not. I’m gonna let it go.”

The poor little girls just look at Mary like she’s a crazy person. Venting to the kids wasn’t Mary’s best idea.

Bronwyn doesn’t think she’s meddling in Heather’s relationship with Angie

Meanwhile, Angie confronts Heather about getting in the middle of her and Lisa’s relationship. But Heather accuses Angie of mom-shaming Lisa over electronics.

When the fight escalates, as they always do, Heather says, “Let’s go talk to Bronwyn right now.”

Heather confronts Bronwyn about getting in the middle of her relationship with Angie. Bronwyn defends herself by saying that Heather repeated something to Lisa that Angie was “probably just venting about.”

Can I just say that these women talk about each other constantly? Why are they upset when what they say comes back to bite them in the butt?

“It’s so messy of Heather to be meddling in [Angie and Lisa’s] relationship,” Bronwyn interviews. “If you believe Heather was not meddling, bitch, neither am I.” Bronwyn knows what she’s doing, but she’s using the other Housewives’ logic – and Heather’s in particular – against them.

As Heather’s recovering from her fight with Angie and Bronwyn, guess who walks in the front door? It’s Jared Osmond. See, Mary? He and Aaron are two different people. Heather greets him with a big hug, but Britani is obviously rattled that he’s there.

Apparently, Whitney’s husband Justin invited Jared. “Jared’s a friend of mine,” Justin says. “I thought I should text him and see if he wants to stop by.” He also told him that Britani was at the party with a date, so he should come.

As Justin greets everyone, Britani bursts into tears. Jared’s the last person she expected to see here.

Lisa thinks Britani should just ask him to leave. “I think it’s time for this relationship to end,” she interviews. “Just put a fork in it. It’s done.”

Lisa drags a reluctant Britani over to Jared, meaning for her to throw him out. But Britani just asks him to go outside and talk. Nice way to treat your date, Britani. Poor Aaron.

They sit down next to the outdoor firepit, and she asks, “Why are you here? This just makes me more confused.”

He admits he came because he missed her. She wants him to make big gestures, “Like my prince on a big white horse, but this isn’t that.” To some, this may feel like manipulation by Jared. But all accounts are conflicting … we might have to wait until the reunion to hear exactly what went on here.

Whitney asks Lisa if they can talk. When they sit down, Whitney drops a bomb that her source says that Lisa is spreading the rumors about her jewelry collection.

“It’s not me, Whitney! It’s not f*cking me!” Lisa shouts. Across the room, everyone notices her yelling. She wants Whitney to tell her who said it. “I’m gonna sue ‘em.”

“I didn’t do it to you!” Lisa screams. “Shut the f*ck up about that. I didn’t do it!” Lisa picks up her phone and calls her private investigator. She wants an investigation opened on whoever’s spreading these lies.

“I want you to get the police involved and go the distance on this,” she says. She wants the LA police involved, as well as Salt Lake City, and she’s going to send Whitney the bill. “And you owe me a big f*cking apology,” she adds.

Whitney thinks Lisa’s reaction just proves she’s guilty. Or she’s just mad you accused her of something she didn’t do. To drive home her point, Lisa runs to Justin and asks, “How do you deal with this? [Your wife’s] a liar!”

Of course, Justin defends Whitney and tells Lisa not to call his wife a “f*cking liar.” This provokes Lisa’s husband, John, to tell Justin, “Don’t use the F-word to my wife.”

Now everybody’s fighting. Happy 25th anniversary, Angie! And we’re hit with the much-loved…
