Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are divorcing, to no one’s shock. However, as they start sorting through the ruins of their marriage, new details are beginning to leak. Allegedly, Brittany had a post-split fling with one of her soon-to-be-exes mates. When Jax heard about this rumor, he called up his former Vanderpump Rules costar, Lala Kent, to get the real dirt about this alleged fling, and when Lala answered, she had a great response at the ready.

Brittany filed for divorce from Jax on August 27. However, their official separation date is January 24. Brittany is already back on the market, ready to find a man who values her and her alone. On her podcast, Give Them Lala, Lala revealed that Brittany first moved forward with a man named Julian Sensley, whom Brittany began seeing during her separation from Jax.
When this big reveal started making the rounds, Jax reached out to Lala. This phone call feels like a full-circle moment, as when Jax and Brittany were dating, he flirted with Lala. His flirtations and subsequent denials were a whole thing during VPR Season 4. Likewise, Jax was never faithful to any of his partners on Pump Rules, so for him to feel flustered about who Brittany is possibly seeing during their official separation is a bit Karma-y.
Lala and her friends knew about Brittany and Julian for “a while.” But when this news “made it to [the] press,” Lala felt bad for Jax. As if he could feel her thinking about him, Jax called Lala, “and he’s like, ‘Did you know this?’” In response, Lala admitted that she did.
But then, Lala had a kind word for Jax. “I’m like, ‘I did. I hope you’re ok,’ she said. In a quieter tone, Lala then quipped that Jax “kind of deserved” this.
Luckily for Jax, however, this alleged fling is already DOA. But in all seriousness, we hope that Brittany and Jax can each move forward, finding new patterns of peace. And if not, cheers for high ratings on The Valley Season 2.
