Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia Thornton wants Karen Huger to fess up regarding her DUI. However, she’ll have to get in line because the rest of the cast has already tried and failed. The Grand Dame told Gizelle Bryant to read the papers if she wanted answers. Likewise, Mia approached Karen about what she heard online and received a similar response. But could Mia get Karen to change her mind?
Mia Thornton shared she was “quite disappointed in Karen” and wanted her to “own it” regarding her DUI
Karen has been deflecting any chance she could get when questioned about her DUI. She focused on Mia’s relationship during Gizelle’s hattitude party. She also diverted attention by inviting the cast to watch her receive a Femme Powered award.
However, Mia tried to get Karen to open up in the sneak peek for Season 9, Episode 4. Mia decided to shoot her shot when they were leaving the airport. But much to her dismay, she did not get very far.
Karen said, “So, I’m not ashamed of that.” This might have been about the articles Mia had mentioned regarding Karen’s DUI in last week’s episode. Mia replied, “Well, good for you, Karen, for owning up to that part because I just feel like it’s ok for you to say like, ‘I F’d up, and it’s not ok to do what I did’ because it’s not your first time.”
Somewhere a record scratched. Karen cut Mia off. “I’m not saying I F’d up yet. I want you to wait for that. I’m not admitting anything. No, I want you to wait so we can talk about it. And this will show me who my real friends are.”
Mia expressed her feelings in her confessional. She said, “I’m actually quite disappointed in Karen. Just say you did it, girl. Like, just say you need your girls; you need support; pray for me; get your bail money together for me. Whatever it is that you need from us, like, just own it.”
But Karen kept firm. She stated, “I can’t talk about it.” And there you have it.
