During Season 9 of Real Housewives of New Jersey, friend of the cast Danielle Staub wed Marty Caffrey in Bimini in 2018. Her bridal party included Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Margaret Josephs. And Danielle earned her nickname the “bridezilla of Bimini.” She dictated exactly what she wanted at her bachelorette party and over-the-top wedding.
It was obvious before the wedding that this couple was doomed. However, now Teresa is circling back around and blaming her enemy, Margaret, for Danielle and Marty’s divorce. As RHONJ viewers know, anything bad that happens can be somehow connected to Margaret.

In February 2019, Marty and Danielle were finally divorced. Of course, they announced their split a mere two months after tying the knot. “Now that the divorce is final, I feel great relief as well as sadness. Relief comes as I have finally reached the end of the twisted road I was dragged down,” Marty said at the time.
Well, now Teresa is revisiting the sordid tale on her podcast, Turning the Tables. Her guest was Kim DePaola. Now Teresa alleged that Margaret told “Marty to not marry her the day before her wedding.” In addition, Teresa claimed that her brother, Joe Gorga, and Margaret’s hubby, Joe Benigno, also warned Marty about marrying Danielle two days before the nuptials.
“She was like sabotaging – you know, saying all this stuff to Marty about Danielle,” Teresa explained. “Like she basically sabotaged their relationship.”
Teresa continued, “Marty and Danielle had a beautiful relationship. And that can happen. People can sabotage relationships. Marty was a great guy. The two of them – beautiful,” the mom of four stated. “I mean, he adored Danielle. He adored her. And maybe [Margaret] didn’t like that.” Teresa added, “People get jealous. It’s so crazy.”

According to Teresa, she decided not to become “close to Margaret” because of the way that she treated Danielle. “She hurts people. I saw what she did to Danielle, and I saw how close they were,” Teresa said. However, Teresa had a logical reason for encouraging Danielle to pull Margaret’s ponytail during a heated shopping trip. “That was the first thing – it would make great TV, but the reason why she yanked it that hard is because of what she did to her,” Teresa said. But Teresa never hurts people or interferes in relationships, right? Of course, she would never try and interfere in Joe and Melissa’s marriage. Puh-lease!
As you may recall, Marty went for a swim in Jennifer Aydin’s pool after being pushed by Margaret and her hubby. Iconic! However, Margaret denied being involved in Marty and Danielle’s divorce. “He saw the real Danielle. The woman has been engaged 20 times at this point, and she only [got married] three times,” Margaret previously stated. “Her average is not too good, if you know what I’m saying.” Well, no one can deny those stats.
