Vicki Gunvalson and Teddi Mellencamp will likely never be friends. While making guest appearances this season on Real Housewives of Orange County, their interactions were small but noticeably icy. According to Vicki, however, she has at least one ally in this war. Her rescuer is Andy Cohen, who allegedly called Teddi an “idiot” during one of her spats with Vicki.

On her podcast, Vicki revealed a fun little incident that transpired during BravoCon 2023. While playing a game of Squash That Beef with Andy, Teddi brought up the cancer scam storyline from RHOC Season 10. This recall angered Vicki, who always claimed her innocence in this narrative.
Jennifer Aydin happened to be a guest on this episode of the My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast airing, and she agreed. “It was like Watch What Happens Live. It was a special [game], and something was going on with Teddi, and it was not nice what she had said, and I think all of us were chanting how it was not nice in the moment,” Jennifer recalled.
Teddi is used to these kinds of heated comments. She remained unaffected during this reaction at BravoCon. But then, Teddi asked Vicki, “Where were you on January 6?” I died when this happened, but I quickly respawned while watching Vicki’s inner monologues go haywire, trying to respond to this messy ask.
Jennifer also noted that Teddi likely “planned” these statements, as she wanted big reactions from the audience. Vicki agreed.
“Of course she did,” Vicki began. She then revealed that Andy called her “later and said, ‘Don’t worry about it. She’s [Teddi] an idiot.’ I’m like, ‘Okay.’ He was like, ‘This came from left field. Where the hell did she come up with this from?’”
Interesting. Is this true, Andy?
