Brynn Whitfield is out for blood on Real Housewives of New York Season 15. No one is safe, certainly not Rebecca Minkoff. Even the newbie isn’t immune to Brynn’s snark.
Indeed, Brynn has been feuding with everyone it would seem. It was only a matter of time before Rebecca got caught in the crossfire. Soon, we’ll get to see Rebecca’s response in full. On November 6, Bravo released a preview of RHONY Season 15, Episode 7.
In the clip, viewers saw Rebecca meet with Erin Lichy for lunch. As the two conversed, Erin brought up Brynn’s shady remarks about Rebecca’s rewards. “I didn’t know Nordstrom Rack gives out awards,” Brynn said. “Oh, wow, that’s a good one,” Rebecca said in all lightheartedness.

Keeping things mellow, Rebecca told Erin, “She doesn’t have to like my stuff. That’s fine.” Rebecca recognized her own accomplishments and felt content with them. Granted, in her confessional, Rebecca called Brynn’s remark “distasteful.” Rebecca rather correctly pointed out that Brynn’s career was a bit of a mystery. As such, she found it funny that Brynn might slam her accomplishments.
From there, Erin and Rebecca began discussing Scientology. Rebecca described it as an “applied philosophy” rather than a religion. (Oh, is that all it is? In that case, how weird that they have tax-exempt status). She further described the church as a resource “to get tools to help me.” However, she backtracked a bit by acknowledging Scientology’s spiritual component.
Rebecca compared Scientology to Soul Cycle in the sense that cycling could be a spiritual experience for someone. “There’s no worship or prayer. It’s like tools to help you.” When alone with the camera, Rebecca lamented the “unfortunate … stereotypes” around Scientology. If it works for her, fine. But there’s no denying that the church certainly has done harm to many others. Rebecca should know that.
