He specializes in jumpers from young horses to top-level Sporthorses.” Prices for his services include $1,600 a month to house your horse. Snd $1,650 a month for training. Simon has been training Toad, Teddi’s horse, since 2023. Simon once shared that Toad had “playful energy.” Evidently, so did Teddi.

The man caught up in the affair with Teddi is a German horse trainer by the name of Simon Schröeder. According to The Chronicle of the Horse, Simon is married to his wife, Karli Schröeder, née Poste. The duo run Schroeder Sporthorses in Moorpark, California. Karli once spoke of her husband’s training ability, sharing, “He’s very in sync with the horse in the way that the horse is thinking.”
The former rider added, “He thinks outside of the box; not every horse falls into a system. Karli and Simon first met at the in-gate of Hunter Ring. During their meet cute, Karli was also a rider, but at the time, she thought Simon was a “jerk.” Their website states, “When the couple began dating, their relationship strengthened around both their approach to horses and their vision for a family.”

Sadly, Teddi and Simon’s affair wasn’t secret enough. Karli began to suspect something was going on when she was left alone to give birth in California while Simon and Teddi were in Florida. A source told The Daily Mail, “Karli thought it was suspicious that her husband was in Florida when she was giving birth.”
The source added, “When Simon returned, Karli found text messages on Simon’s phone that exposed the affair. She confronted Simon and Teddi about it, and they confessed. Teddi promised it would not happen again.”

Teddi filed for divorce from Edwin on November 1. After 13 years of marriage, Teddi asked for full custody of the couple’s three children and for Edwin to pay spousal support.
Teddi announced the news on her Instagram, writing, “After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.”
Edwin has responded to Teddi’s filing asking for joint custody of the children, for Teddi to pay him spousal support, and to uphold their prenup.
