Katie Ginella had quite the freshman season on the Real Housewives of Orange County, between combating Heather Dubrow on multiple fronts and making amends with Gina Kirschenheiter. However, as part two of the reunion is set to air, Katie is in another media storm due to a police report mentioned during part one.
The police report against Katie Ginella is damning
In Touch reported that in 2016, a man named Sidnei Silva sued Katie. The court documents show that Katie was accused of calling the police to report a fake crime, which in turn caused a wrongful arrest of Sidnei. In the lawsuit, Sidnei claimed he had an altercation with the Real Housewives of Orange County star on the highway. He claimed she followed him to his house and “parked her vehicle behind” his work van outside his home. The documents report that “Katie exited her vehicle and confronted Sidnei aggressively.” It was then that Sidnei pulled out his cell phone to record Katie. In turn, Katie called 911 and “falsely” reported a crime. Now, the outlet revealed that Katie was found to be the “aggressor” by the law enforcement officials who had investigated the case.
The Cobb County Police showed that Katie wrongfully accused Sidnei. The paperwork showed that Katie claimed Sidnei had gotten out of his car and started yelling at her and the children. Sidnei was asked to get back into his car, but he refused. The report read, “At this time in our investigation, the primary aggressor and actual events of the situation were unclear. In an attempt to separate both parties and thoroughly investigate the incident, we requested Sidnei to stay in his vehicle. However, Sidnei refused to comply.”
Sidnei had receipts of Katie Ginella’s behavior
Sidnei shared he had taken video footage of the incident. The officer reported the video “showed Katie get out of her vehicle and tell Sidnei to stop recording her. Based off what I witnessed in the video Sidnei did not block her path to her vehicle.” The report added, “When I was evaluating all the testimonial and physical evidence I concluded that Katie was the aggressor on the road; however; when I arrived on scene, Sidnei was the primary aggressor.” This isn’t Katie’s first rodeo, so I’m sure her lawyers are working overtime on this.
