Carl Radke’s new business is “loading” and he gave fans a sneak peek of his non-alcoholic bar and café. The Summer House cast member shared a story on his social media of him hard at work in the middle of what appears to be an in-construction zone or back room likely of his upcoming new watering hole.
And while the details are minimal, it’s exciting to get a tiny look at what the reality star has been hard at work on since the middle of the year.
Carl Radke is one step closer to the opening of Soft Bar + Café
In Carl’s story, he’s sitting at a table working simultaneously on his laptop and phone. He’s sporting the Soft Bar baseball cap from the company’s merch line and is surrounded by various construction materials.
The space looks like a back room which doesn’t provide any clues as to how the front of the house will look. However based on the aesthetic of the merch and the social media pages it looks like it may feature various hues of green, cream, and gray. And if the truck has anything to do it with, perhaps a slight industrial feel too.
Carl announced the launch of his non-alcoholic bar concept after wrapping Season 8 of Summer House in July 2024. He previously spoke about his brother’s passing and how it inspired his lifestyle change, including his sobriety journey in 2021.
Part of this ongoing journey and challenge helped him find his purpose. Carl wanted to open a space for everyone. It is a place in New York where people can relax and enjoy non-alcoholic beverages. That’s how the idea of Soft Bar + Café came about. It’s a social space where everyone can go for a night out without worrying about compromising their lifestyle.
While it is a great option for those who are sober, the venue is also for those who may need an alcohol break, pregnant women, or anyone who just wants a night out without a next-day hangover.
Soft Bar + Café is set to open in January 2025.
