Peter Madrigal Hints He Might Return for Vanderpump Rules Season 12

Vanderpump Rules will cast an entirely new set of characters for Season 12. The shocking news came days ago. It was revealed that the new stars would be people who actually still work for Lisa Vanderpump. While the former main stars were financially able to move on to other endeavors, there was one peripheral player who kept his job at SUR. And now it seems, perhaps even a role on VPR. Of course, it’s Peter Madrigal.

The outdated news regarding Peter was that he chose not to come back to VPR after the network wanted him to appear without pay. Now, it seems the sweeping changes will invert the entire conversation.

Peter Madrigal is “very grateful for what we had” on VPR

TMZ reporters caught up with Peter outside SUR in West Hollywood. They asked him to react to his former costars’ firing and the cast shake-up.

“I’m very grateful for all the time that I spent with everybody on the show. For ten seasons. Ten seasons. That’s a lot of seasons. That’s a lot of television. So I’m grateful for what we had together for those ten years,” Peter responded.

He then teased that the cast may not be “entirely new.” Rather, the SUR manager suggested that viewers might “see a familiar face” throughout filming.

As the paparazzi continued engaging Peter in conversation, the reality TV star continued the banter by suggesting it might be him. Logistically, as the manager of SUR, it would make sense that he would be around the cameras and all the action.

“You never know, It might be yours truly. You never know,” Peter teased. “I’m still managing this place. So that’s what I’m doing right now.”

“Do you think everybody’s actually chill about it?” the TMZ reporter asked Peter about the cast shake-up.

“I haven’t gauged or talked to anybody about that. I’ve been so busy with my own work. I’m still here working at SUR,” he responded.

“We’ll see. I’m gonna tease,” the SUR manager added. “There’s going to be a somewhat entirely new cast, but there might be a familiar face.”

One could say Peter played the long game with this potential win. Should he be the last man standing after ten seasons of core cast members, that would be quite the change of events.

Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock.
