Jennifer Tilly is a peripheral cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but she’s got the personality to make up for it. And she can certainly slay an impression. And who better to impersonate, than Dorit Kemsley.
Dorit’s accent has been questioned in the past. It’s hard to nail the multiple nuances of her voice, but Jennifer did an admirable job in a recent interview. Hopefully, the impression does not cause offense to the RHOBH veteran. She’s got enough on her plate with the Kyle Richards feud.
Jennifer Tilly loves a good impression
Jennifer shared her impression during a recent interview. It came off the heels of an intense episode between Kyle and Dorit.
“So we’re in the pre-cocktail before dinner situation and she goes, ‘Jennifer, I believe there’s an elephant in the room. I have to address it at dinner tonight.’ And I go, ‘Yes, Dorit you should clear the air.’ And she goes, ‘Yes I have to address the elephant in the room,'” Jennifer said.
The accent waffled between a British twang and something unrecognizable. RHOBH stars Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais were laughing at the impression.
Meanwhile, Dorit has been finding her voice, however it sounds, in her conflict with Kyle. Perhaps separating from PK Kemsley changed something in her demeanor. Prior to this season, Dorit did not raise her voice to the decibel she is hitting on the recent episodes.
So addressing the “elephant in the room” resulted in a cliffhanger of an episode. Kyle and Dorit were getting into it at a cast dinner. The episode ended with Dorit proclaiming, “It’s time for you to listen.”
The mother-of-two didn’t feel heard and felt that perhaps she didn’t clearly express her feelings. Dorit also felt Kyle was grasping for reasons to be upset. Kyle brought up Teddi Mellencamp and Dorit’s failure to speak up for her at a BravoCon event.
