We all saw how the ladies of Married to Medicine tried to push Quad Webb out of the sister circle in Season 10. What we didn’t see was the alleged behind-the-scenes effort from some of the cast to get her fully fired from the show. Thankfully, we have Dr. Heavenly Kimes shining a light on what happened.
According to Heavenly, there was a full-on meeting about getting Quad axed from the show, but she refused to let it happen. The only issue is that not everyone agrees with Heavenly’s version of events.
Here’s what everybody’s saying…
Did the M2M cast try to kick Quad off the show?
Any Married to Medicine fan knows that when Dr. Heavenly goes live on her YouTube, she’s going to spill some major tea. Her latest video didn’t fall short as she passionately recounted the drama that happened behind the scenes last season.
“They had a whole meeting about it. They called production,” Heavenly claimed.
As one of Quad’s closest friends, Heavenly said she was intentionally “excluded” from the meeting because the people “leading the charge” against Quad were afraid that the information would get back to her. However, she said that Dr. Jackie Walters filled her in on what happened. Once Heavenly found out, she made a few phone calls to stand up for her co-star.
“No, no, no. We’re not doing this with Quad. I will film with her” Heavenly explained.
Fearful that she would be next, Heavenly added, “If they get rid of Quad, who the f*ck else they gonna come at next?”
For the sake of the show, Heavenly argued that they needed Quad in the cast. In her mind, there wouldn’t even be a show without her and Quad.
“Without me and Quad, there’s no f-cking show,” Heavenly argued. “What mess would you have? What situations would you have without Quad this season and without Dr. Heavenly?”
Toya claps back at Dr. Heavenly’s claims
Although Dr. Heavenly never mentioned Toya Bush-Harris, she felt compelled to refute these claims about a secret meeting. The M2M OG posted two comments on Instagram in an attempt to shut down the rumors.
“I’d like to know who attended and why did they invite her if she was Quads ‘friend,'” Toya wrote in the comments on The Jasmine Brand’s Instagram.
Dr. Heavenly clearly said in the video that she wasn’t invited to the anti-Quad meeting, so Toya’s first comment didn’t necessarily land. She then followed up with another remark hoping to shut down the conversation altogether.
“I can’t with people who look for opportunities to just talk and get people riled up for no reason,” Toya added. “If Quad is back and working, why are we talking about her being off the show?”
That second comment kind of reads like someone with a guilty conscience. Perhaps Dr. Jackie can weigh in since Heavenly said she’s the one who shared the information with her. Either way, this needs to be hashed out at the Married to Medicine Season 11 reunion. There are too many bombs getting dropped for this to go undiscussed.
Season 11 of Married to Medicine continues on Bravo on Sundays at 9/8c.
