Sigh. Congrats are in order, I guess. Despite breaking off their first engagement three months ago, Lenny Hochstein and Katharina Mazepa got engaged. Again!
Lenny is best known for being the former husband of Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein. Katharina is best known for being his alleged side chick during their marriage as a model.
But they are happy, happy, happy, and want everyone to know it. Because this time, it’s going to stick, right?
A second chance at love for Lenny Hochstein
During a recent interview with Us Weekly, Lenny gushed about his second engagement to Katharina.
“I am beyond grateful for this second chance at love with the woman of my dreams. Love has a way of finding its way back to where it belongs and if I have learned anything it is that Katharina belongs in my arms forever,” he shared. “This is why this past weekend, in our home and in front of her best friends, I asked for her hand in marriage.”
After she accepted, the couple “continued to celebrate and dance all night here at the house with her loved ones.” Fun fact: he proposed with the same ring he used the first time around!
So what makes Lenny sure this will end well? “The thing that makes this time different is that during our time apart I was able to realize just how important Katharina is to me,” he explained. “She is not only the person that I need to be with, but she is also the only person I want to be with.”
The Miami-based plastic surgeon posted a photo on Instagram of him down on one knee in front of Katharina to share the news. “Sometimes life gives you a second chance and you realize what truly matters,” he captioned it.
“After everything we’ve been through, I knew I would never let her go again. Here’s to a love that’s worth fighting for, stronger than ever, and a future we’ll build together,” he added.
Katharina commented, “Love has a way of finding its way back to where it belongs.”
The one-time model posted the engagement video to her Instagram account with the caption, “Stolen by @lennyhochstein.” Ok then.
The two ended their other engagement back in September, issuing a joint statement to assure the public that the split was “amicable” and “was not due to infidelity on either side.”
