It takes a real piece of work to cause a scene at Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party, but allegedly, that’s what James Kennedy did just hours before his domestic violence arrest.
If you follow Kathy, then you know she’s hosted about half a dozen Christmas parties for various brands this year. The party in question this time was her annual DirectTV Christmas party, which happened on December 10. According to an insider, James was misbehaving while everyone else was rocking around the Christmas tree.
James Kennedy just earned a spot on the Naughty List
Every Bravolebrity under the sun turned up at Kathy’s Christmas party, and Us Weekly spoke to several anonymous insiders who were there. While some insisted that James was in good spirits, others suggested they saw glimpses of some questionable behavior.
It all started on the red carpet when James was supposedly “in a mood.” The outlet said he avoided doing interviews with the press. One source described his behavior as “erratic” before he “ran off to get inside the party.”
Once he got inside, insiders saw him with Ally Lewber together for most of the night. The two were dancing, cuddling, and soaking in all of the Christmas cheer. Then, something weird happened between him and one of his guy friends.
“His guy friend was chasing him from Kathy’s basement all the way throughout Kathy’s backyard, and James looked mad while running away,” an insider recalled. “The guy who was chasing him almost fell into the pool and dropped a lantern in the pool causing a huge scene. Everyone was wondering what was going on.”
There’s no word on what that spectacle was about, but a few hours later, James got into an argument with an unnamed woman. The cops were called, and the rest is history. Now, it’s safe to say he won’t be on Kathy’s invite list next year.
