When a reality star does something wrong, it’s only a matter of time before we get a black-and-white note on social media offering a semblance of an apology. Like clockwork, James Kennedy’s post has just arrived.
The Vanderpump Rules alum just broke his silence following his domestic violence arrest. He says he’s committed to making changes, but does anyone believe him?
James Kennedy is ‘taking time’ to focus on himself
It’s been about a week since the news dropped of James’s arrest. The cops were called after witnesses said they saw him throw a woman to the ground.
The arrest happened hours after James and Ally Lewber attended Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party. Insiders at the party said James was “in a mood” that night and behaving strangely. On Instagram, he admitted that he has been navigating some struggles and may have relapsed on his sobriety.
“I am committed to making meaningful changes in my life. I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for my loved ones,” James wrote.
He added, “Navigating challenging moments is not easy, but I am determined to learn, grow, and move forward with the incredible support system around me.”
Although James has a support system around him, we’re not sure if that includes Ally. She was sticking by him the day after the arrest, but recent photos showed her leaving their house with a suitcase. Insiders said that she’s been staying in an Airbnb.
Of course, all of this drama has unfolded in the aftermath of Bravo firing the entire Vanderpump Rules cast. Initially, it seemed like James was going to land on his feet, but it’s clear that hasn’t been the case. Whatever happens next, we’re wishing the best for everyone.
