Dorit Kemsley and her estranged husband, PK Kemsley, may have some buyer’s remorse. The estranged couple started filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills back in 2016 when they were close friends with Lisa Vanderpump. Now, during Season 14, viewers are watching the fallout from PK and Dorit’s separation. And, surprisingly, PK initiated their separation as he began his sobriety journey.
PK Kemsley believes that RHOBH changed Dorit Kemsley into “a completely different person”
Recently, PK and Mauricio Umansky, who is separated from RHOBH star Kyle Richards, were guests on Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast. First, PK took issue with Dorit’s claims that their separation allegedly happened because PK was a “full-blown” alcoholic. “I was shocked, disappointed, and upset, at what Dorit had to say,” PK stated. He explained that alcoholism is a disease, and it was a symptom of their failing relationship – not the cause of it.
When host Alex Baskin asked PK if he “regret[s] doing the show,” PK’s answer wasn’t surprising. “Now, yeah,” he stated. “Of course I do. I’m not with the love of my life. So, of course, I regret it,” PK added. He also explained that Dorit changed after appearing on RHOBH. He stated, “Suddenly, I’m watching my wife be someone who is a completely different person to the person that I met, married, and fell in love with.”
So, did PK change? While he believes that he hasn’t “changed at all,” he claimed that “Dorit’s change is enormous.” PK added, “Her narrative of what has gone on is very different to mine.”
Plus, PK also stated that he doesn’t know whether a reconciliation is in the cards. Naturally, PK wants to concentrate on his five children. He shares Phoenix and Jagger with Dorit. Plus, he wants to focus on his sobriety.
Meanwhile, Dorit has called their relationship “toxic” at times. “When I talk about PK and I getting toxic, he would speak to me in a very aggressive, disrespectful way,” she explained. “And I, in turn, would do the same. I don’t want to live like that anymore.”
In addition, an insider has alleged that Dorit is ready to file for divorce. “She doesn’t need to lean on PK as much as she used to, she can stand on her own,” the source claimed. Well, none of these details sound like they are pointing to a reconciliation.
