Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag’s Los Angeles Home Lost in Wildfire

No matter how you feel about The Hills stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, nobody deserves what they’re experiencing now. The couple lost their home in the massive fire that’s burning through the West Side of Los Angeles.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ that their Pacific Palisades residence burned to the ground on Tuesday, January 7. Though the entire family safely evacuated, Heidi and Spencer are naturally devastated by the loss of their home.

Wildfire rips through celeb-filled neighborhood

Hours before having to flee, Spencer shared a video on his Instagram Story of nearby air tankers dropping water on the flames, attempting to stop the spread of the fire. Spencer understandably looked worried and upset as he watched the fire getting closer to his family’s home.

As of this morning, news outlets report at least five people are dead and 200,000 residents are under evacuation orders. Updated reports say over 17,000 acres have burned and thousands of structures have been destroyed–and the numbers keep climbing.

The celebrity-filled neighborhood of Pacific Palisades has been hit hard. The wind-swept fire has forced many stars to flee their homes to escape the flames.

For Heidi’s part, even though she’s thankful that she and her family are safe, she’s mourning the loss of their home. She and Spencer share two boys: Gunner, 7, and Ryker, 2.

Officials have not yet determined the cause of the wildfire. It’s also pertinent to keep in mind that not all residents impacted by this horrible blaze are well-off celebrities. Our thoughts are with all victims of this terrible situation.

The Hills is streaming on Paramount+.
