Madison LeCroy has truly become the voice of reason on Southern Charm. Sure, she’s not above getting into the drama with her co-stars. However, since Madison found the man of her dreams and settled into her new life, she’s best at providing comedic relief on the show. However, Southern Charm Season 10 is turning out a little different.
Madison has been open with the viewers about her husband Brett Randle’s health problems. He was diagnosed with thyroid cancer last year which was a battle on its own. Now, in the current episodes, Brett revealed that doctors found a spot on his kidney they were concerned about. This is all happening within the same year that Madison lost her dad to cancer, so it has truly been one thing after another for one of our favorite stars. Unfortunately, the bad news continued in the latest Southern Charm episode.
Madison’s supportive strength
During Thursday’s episode of Southern Charm, Madison filmed a scene discussing Brett’s health status with her mom. “He did some blood work and it didn’t come back normal,” Madison explained. “They found a tumor on his kidney. We don’t know, we don’t know what it is, but still.” Heartbreaking.
Then, Madison was totally raw and admitted to her mom that she doesn’t know what to do to help her husband. “If I lose him, I would die,” she added. However, her mom suggested that Madison stay right by his side, which is something she wish she got more time to do with her husband/Madison’s dad.
Later, Madison was totally blunt about how all of the bad news is resulting in the worst year of her life. “My dad was diagnosed with cancer too, but he didn’t last,” she said. “This is life, I guess. I just f—ing hate it. Like, I f—ing hate it.” We hope that Brett can continue on a journey of health and wellness. Also, we’re thinking of Madison, Hudson, and the rest of Brett’s friends and family during this difficult time.
