SOME people in the United States have no clue who Robbie Williams is, but still, Andy Cohen really wants to see his wife, Ayda Field on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. That might be Robbie’s only ticket to finding relevancy in North America.
The music legend, whose biopic features him as a CGI dancing monkey, appeared on Watch What Happens Live when Andy admitted that they’ve tried to recruit Ayda for the show. It seems like Andy still hasn’t given up on that dream.
Ayda Field keeps turning down the diamond
Anytime there’s a break between seasons of RHOBH, the internet lights up about casting rumors. Apparently, Ayda is the one we should have had our eyes on this whole time. On WWHL, Andy said they’ve been seeking her out for years.
Andy revealed, “Can I be real and say that we’ve asked Ayda to be a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills like five times? Five years in a row. Have we not?”
Interestingly, many RHOBH fans suspect that Ayda had a genuine connection to the group. It’s rumored that she could have been a part of the 14-person friend group that supposedly dumped Crystal Kung Minkoff. However, Ayda says it’s Robbie who’s keeping her from joining the show.
“We’ve got to get him on board,” Ayda teased Andy.
This isn’t the first time that Robbie has taken the fall for his wife not getting on the show. In a 2023 interview, Robbie admitted that he felt scared to bring the Bravo cameras into their lives. After all, we know what happens to happy couples on reality TV.
“Listen, my wife would be really good on it, but I’m absolutely terrified of the prospect of it.” Robbie said last year. “As fascinating as it is for a fan, you invite a trauma whirlwind into your life.”
