Surprisingly, it’s been a minute since we’ve had any big updates on Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright. Now, Kristen Doute is here to set the record straight on some of Jax’s claims regarding his marriage.
A few months ago, The Valley stars and divorcees both hit the podcast circuit. When Jax was given a platform, he spewed all sorts of claims about himself and Brittany.
Most notably, Jax claimed that Brittany allegedly invited him over for a hookup. It didn’t take long for Brittany to slam Jax’s lies. When she did, Kristen was ready to give backup.
Kristen Doute accuses Jax Taylor of blowing the truth out of proportion
Kristen recently appeared on Bravo’s Hot Mic Podcast. While there, Alex Baskin asked for her opinion on Jax’s comments when he was on the podcast. Kristen said, “It’s typical Jax,” she said. “It’s the same Jax that I’ve known 17 years. It’s the same Jax that the audience has watched on TV for the last 12+ years.”
Kristen then held her fingers close together and said, “It’s the Jax that starts with this much truth.” She cited the moment when Jax said that Brittany allegedly texted him to “come over.” Kristen revealed, “There was truth to that. She was trying to give him a chance.” Kristen then accused Jax of taking the seed of truth and blowing the whole thing out of proportion.
“The truth is just never juicy enough for him,” she explained. “So he has to make it a little bit bigger.” On the topic of the truth, Kristen later said, “The only thing that he said that was of any truth is that he’s verbally abusive.” During her time on the podcast, she also slammed Jax for calling himself a “mental health advocate.”
The Valley is streaming on Peacock, with Season 2 expected to hit Bravo this year.
