Bronwyn Newport’s first season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has come to an end. Fans still have two more weeks of reunion to look forward to, but after that, it’s unclear if Bronwyn will be back.
Granted, she’s got plenty on her plate besides the show, namely her husband’s infidelity issues. Fans know that these issues spiraled into a divorce settlement from his first marriage.
And whether Bronwyn returns to the show or not, fans will remember everything she gave to RHOSLC Season 5. Most notably, there was her relationship and ongoing feud with Lisa Barlow. What does Bronwyn think about her season in hindsight?
Did Bronwyn Newport exhibit certain patterns on RHOSLC Season 5?
During Bronwyn’s recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, a fan wrote in to ask about her behavior. Andy Cohen read the fan’s statement: “I’ve noticed a pattern where you discuss something with others, then seek absolution from the person, and then you shift blame onto others. … Why do you do this?”
Bronwyn said, “I don’t know if that’s what I was trying to do. I hate that it looks that way.” However, even though things looked a certain way, Bronwyn didn’t blame the edit. “No, never a bad edit, I don’t blame that,” she said. “I think the conversation should include the person it’s about, always. So, I kind of always tell everybody what I’ve said, what other people have said.”
Bronwyn conceded that, at times, she needed validation from her costars, only to sometimes toss them aside afterward. Specifically, she cited Lisa. Bronwyn thought her friendship with Lisa was more than it actually was. That led her to discount her other cast members. “I did think it was deeper until I watched the show,” she said.
